On current form, and form over the last year or two, it has to be Andrew Flintoff. Jacques Kallis was the best all-rounder before that though.

I think undoubtedly Flintoff is the best in recent times and cairns 4-5 years earlier. Flintoff can make a place in the england team for his only batting and bowling and that makes me feel he is the best.
