Best Express Pace Bowler

Mahmood doesn't seem that quick off the pitch.

Mahmood is just all over the place like you said Matt. He has the "Sami" problem.

Aye. All you have to do is look at some of Mahmood's purple spells to see the world class that hides within him. It's a confidence issue, and I don't want to tempt fate, but he seems to be correcting that now.

Trust me he is. He's one of those bowlers who don't look that quick on the tv, but see him at a stadium and you'll see the pace he possesses.

Will, for once you made sense, all bowlers slow up after bounce, but Mahmood at times seems to slow up quite a bit, maybe needs to work on that, as sometimes, bouncers are there to smack skywards and 6!

Shane Bond just ahead of Makhaya Ntini for me. Brett Lee is honestly the most overrated fast bowler in the world. Most of his wickets are cheap and his accuracy is pretty bad.

I completely forgot about Ntini. But I just don't get how he gets the wickets. He is a lot like a Harmison, always too short.

Ntini, oh i, forgot about him, great bowler, and his celebrations credit the wicket :p

Not up to a Monty style, but close!

I don't really think Ntini is express though. He generally keeps his pace limited to a max of 90/91mph these days. Fine bowler though.

Well Fast bowlers was my criteria, I'm not sure how fast Ntini is but he is listed as RF, so I put him in there. Good bowler too.

He's usually only 135 - 140 kph. He never hits 90 mph.

Bond and Malinga based on recent form.

Bond has every necessary tool. Massive Swing. Slower balls, bouncers, yorkers, accuracy, bounce, pace, cool head, economy.

Malinga is more of a guy who uses his pace and angle. However I think he used some slower balls in the World Cup. He's developing.

I like Lee. Looking forward to seeing him back on the park.

From what I've seen I'd go Bond. Pace and control with the ability to get drastic swing when the conditions are right. Deadly yorker and good slower ball.

Yup Bond is very good, I'd probably say Malinga, for the pure fact if you had to select them you'd more often than not have Malinga available whilst Bond is on the treatment table.

Johnson gets the ball up to 150 kp/h. And I can say that he will be a much better bowler then Jimmy.

Oh....theres Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh that springs to mind. Also, Craig Mcdermott. Oh, and Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis

I must also add Allan Donald!!!And Shane Bond is insane! Too good.

Brett Lee is terrible. His just like Mohammad Sami, great start to his career & his died off (similar to Stuart Clark). He'll get dropped soon as his not even a fast bowler anymore.

Shane Bond by far. Ntini isn't an out & out fast bowler.

If Wasim Akram counts then him, his the best bowler I've ever seen. Then Curtly Ambrose.

Stuart Clark? How has he died off? 26 wickets in his last Test series! lol
