Hayden and Gilly they may have had a bad series over here but still top dogs.

hayden and gilly do a great job, but i still dont get why people add the strauss and tresocotick to all this partnership polls:p gibbs and smith would be close

When Tres and straussy are both in form they can be dangerous in test and ODIs but Gilly and Hayden are the best in the moden era

yeh of course they can be, but theyre still a new partnership in a couple years they could be the best ever, but hayden and gilly do it constinely, its like putting gilly + katich partnership up after 3 matches!

Been together 2 years, and they've been a huge catalyst of our success.

I would still consider Ganguly -Tendulkar as the current era! Ganguly is not finished yet!

Ganguly-Tendulkar are the best opening pair! Among the poll, Hayden - Gilly win easily!

welll i remember the partner ship between ganguly and sachin opening but i gotta say today sachin and sehwag if these 2 fire up thiers nothing like it

this is similar to what one person said "butt and afridi"... for being the best opening pair of the current era, you need to have achieved a hell lot during that time frame! what have sachin and sehwag achieved better than the other pairs in the current era? if you look at ganguly and tendulkar, they have scored a hell lot of runs together and have involved in numerous century partnerships! same with hayden-gilly...
