Yes, the person who shot Benazir Bhutto 4 times (not sure) in the chest and once in the neck blew himself up in the aftermath of this tragedy. Really sad news.

I suspect it was the Al-Qaeda as they had threatened to kill her after her return to Pakistan if she did not back down. They did not want democracy to be established in Pakistan. Musharraf's recent actions (state of emergency, confession to not ruling democratically but autocratically through martial law) certainly do not mean that he is not a possible suspect either.

This is complete coincidence. He was executed on the 30th December.

I think that they will continue with the elections, as Musharaf will want to show the world he wasnt involved in this and that Pakistan is a democratic state.
