I cant believe Ryan Carters is playing.. lol he is the biggest thing to come out of Canberra since Michael Bevan

I went to primary school with him and he was my first ever wicket off my first ever ball.. lol then he got angry bowled me first ball as i batted took back the bat and batted all lunch lol

He hit a ridiculous score in the first grade final here to win Wests the competition and was only left out of 19's sides because there was no ACT selector in the panel. He is going to play for Australia you have my word

Despite being a die hard New South Welshmen I hope that Victoria make the final now, they are the side best equipped to represent us as the T20CL both because of their experience this year and the overall quality in their squad. South Australia are a solid side with guys like Tait and Cosgrove but are on top due to their internationals who will more than likely be unavailable for the CL, Victoria and NSW are the two sides that when at full strength are capable to take on the best the rest of the world has to offer

Tassie are just too dumb at cricket. Paine and Cowan should always open the batting and then bring in the player that suits the situation the best. I reckon we should drop Bailey and Birt just for them to realise that this is serious.

Looks like Victoria might be peaking at the right stage. Better late than never for Hodge, with this form they should give the finalist a run. Hopefully its WA v Queensland in the prelim. Finch did dam well as opener, wonder if they will keep him there from now on and same for FRC.

I'm just started to think about next year's comp and I was wondering with England been over here for the ashes and Flintoff most likely not playing in it, but maybe over here for the ODI's do you reckon he'll play in the Big Bash?

Yep they are out. I reckon there should be a spot for the Champions especially if the IPL gets a third team again, but it seems that was cause the Pakistan team was banned.

Teams only get 2 imports and some didn't want to offer another contract (Queensland). ATM Tasmania could have used him but it seems most States are happy with the local lads.

Yeah maybe that coould be the way to go? If your the Champs, you play on.

The easiest way is to expand the comp, give Pakistan another slot or some other country (not the IPL) and the other spot is for the champions. With the current format you would have to remove a team from somewhere, probably the only way is to reserve one of our spots meaning this season only the Big Bash champions would make it.

I cannot believe how much T/20's changed so rapidly. I remember when each side played two matches and then a final and that was it. Also remember when Andrew Johns played in it as well.
