Perth had the batters on paper.

Hussey, Gibbs, Collingwood, Katich, Marsh... Gilchrist would of been awesome.

Hussey was one of the best 20/20 players for chennai and now he gets a duck on his HOME ground.

Any reason why Andrew Symonds is not playing in BBL'11 ? No franchisee showed interest in him or troubled relations with CA has cost him chance of participation ?

IMO, he is more suited to Big Bash in Australia than Bigg Boss in India..:eek:

You're going to have to work several stages on the trades. You need a batsman and two bowlers pronto, but Johnson is wasting money and you'll probably have to trade Warner too at some point. Maybe if you're lucky some of your bench guys will start to get picked. Probably get a cheaper bowler in for Cummins and give yourself a chance of getting some value. You could add two bowlers around the 50k mark or lower that would be 1st string. You could do similar with the batsmen but it seems wiser to save up and get high priced batsmen than to get pricey bowlers.

Warner is a class bat. Would like to see him open with Watson in the Test team soon.
 
I've just noticed that a former Scotland player Ian Moran is playing for Sydney Sixers in the BBL.Now why would they sign up such a player whose stats in T20s are so poor.....They could've taken some other talented player instead of him and that guy hasn't played proper cricket since 2008....:facepalm
 
This is awesome seeing Dernbach getting smashed, why does he sledge the batsman after getting hammered all over the place??
