Whenever I see Gayle bat in T20s, he ends up with a ton. Undoubtedly the most dangerous T20 batsman ATM.

Agree - well until Sehwag masters T20 huh Yudi ;)

Very happy the Scorchers won tho, is there anything Shaun Marsh cant do? haha. I remember everyone thought I was crazy to get him into the team a few years ago, he is just as good as he was back then.

Not quite sure about that - he's always had the talent, but a couple of years ago he'd never had a long enough or good enough run for WA to really demand a spot in the Aussie team. It was really his Kings XI stint that solidified his spot originally. Dude needs to stay healthy...We need him fit - if he can play with the discipline he showed in SL he's going to be really worth his weight in gold in this current Test side.

Sydney Thunder are just banking on gayle from now on to win them games since Warner will be playing for Australia, i seriously doubt how long their winning streak will continue.

Sehwag has been very good in T20s, IPL 4 was awesome for him! He has already mastered the art of batting in T20s but Gayle in T20s is simply out of this world. No words to describe him.

I think what you mean is Gayle is in the form of his life and West Indies are really missing him. Had he been in the India series West Indies probably would have won.

Great bowling performance by Nannes and Afridi

One thing I have noticed, most of the stadium is empty in BBL. no idea why, compare it to the IPL, most of the time the stadiums are near full

Stadiums would be jam packed if they had same number of population as of India :)

That was a silly reply.
The answer could probably be that CA has no separate window for it, international matches are played simultaneously due to which the big stars go missing from the Big Bash League.

Really Did You Saw The First Match Of Stars

Really? Did you see the first match of Stars?

Now it looks right.

It's just about the choice of a person. If you don't like this version of the game, you simply don't waste your money by going to the ground as you can watch it for free on Television. Even if Australia have had the same population as India, it would have been the same result as people in Australia does not like T20 as much as Test(This comes from how the attendance was in the first BBL match and first test in MCG between India and Australia.)

Apart from Gayle, Sydney Thunder are terrible. Evidence that the BBL is a diluted tournament is guys who are playing terribly like D Smith, Khawaja, Cruickshank ect. wouldn't be getting a game for the NSW T20 team.

Some of the batting in the tournament has been just awful.

Abbott showed some nice hitting skills also showed some nice dot ball skills. He might be our best hope after Gayle falls.

the Thunders are going to end up on the loosing end.

 Butterworth picked one up. Could we be heading towards an anti-climax?

Nope. Hurricanes win, good night.

If we had the original state teams we would be having a very high quality tournament, instead of something that resembles grade cricket half the time.

If we had original state teams, here's what they would look like with the players available at the moment

Victoria

Finch
McDonald
Hodge
Hussey
White
Maxwell
Wade
Afridi
McKay
Warne
Nannes

NSW

Gayle
Jaques
Maddinson
Katich
Bravo
Rohrer
D. Smith
Lee
Starc
Hazlewood
MacGill

Steve Smith doesn't make my team. Has a terrible T20 batting average so he would only be in the team as a spinner. MacGill and Doran would be way ahead of Smith on bowling.

Henriques is in the same boat. Poor batting record but also a poor bowling record. Can't fit him in unless he improves his game.

SA

Klinger
Harris
Ferguson
Cooper
Christian
Borgas
Crosthwaite
Botha
Richardson
O'Brien
Tait

Tasmania

Wells
Lockyear
Bailey
Shah
Triffit
Johnston
Kruger
Faulkner
Rana Naved
Krejza
Doherty

WA

Gibbs
North
Birt
Voges
Marsh
Beaton
Ronchi
Hogg
Rimmington
Coulter-Nile
Beer

QLD

Hayden
Dunk
Forrest
Robinson
Lynn
Reardon
van der Merwe
Neser
Harris
Ipson
McDermott

Having the state teams allows teams to gel together and really play as a team and play for each other. It also gives states the chance to pluck guys out of nowhere like Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon last season.

Also I think it was the wrong decision for Kurtis Patterson to turn down a BBL deal. I think he would've been much better off facing guys like Brett Lee, Shaun Tait, Rana Naved, Johan Botha, Shane Warne and Brad Hogg in front of 15,000-30,000 people instead of playing against state under 19 and club cricketers in front of next to no-one.
