BLC 99 help needed-urgently

I got this game about 2 years ago....and ive just downloaded it, again...and i get this problem:

The game simply won't open. I choose all of the ways (direct x ect.) and still no sucsess. Due to Ea's let down i want to at least test a codies full game before i buy the latest one. I really need your help...thanks

Try right clicking the EXE and change its compatibility mode to Windows 95/98

Go to the place you installed the game which will be somewhere in your main hard drive usually C:

Now find which mode you want to run it in. I think there is software, D3D and something else. Now right click the one you want and go to properties. There you can change it to Windows 95/98
