BLIC CD/Game problems.

Graphics card perhaps... do other types of game work? (World cup etc.)

nope, but my graphics card is supported.

1) Uninstall the game
2) Clear out your C:\Windows\Temp folder. If you have Windows 2000 or XP, also clear out your c:\Documents and settings\[username]\Local settings\Temp folder
3) Run Scandisk (Disk Error Checking)
4) Run Defrag
5) Ensure that no background programs or utilities are running - particularly anti-virus software - by right clicking on any icons in your system tray and selecting disable/exit or the equivalent option
6) Disable your soundcard, from the device manager (let us know if need further help doing this)
7) Re-install the game
8) Re-enable your soundcard

should i do that? keeping in minds that it was hard to install in the first place?
