Why does it have to be our prior pick though? If we do it like that we can just pretty much pick our own teams and post it without going through a draft. Can't it be just the prior pick in general?

Not really. I'm guessing if someone else has picked a player, you can’t pick him as well.

Agreed but still...it sort of takes a lot of challenge out of things. We have 7 to begin with, and I can almost guarantee that in that 7 you'd get Bradman, Viv, Sobers as first picks. To a lesser extent you'd get Lara, Warne, Murali, Tendulkar.

I mean, what's the point of Drafts if the same players keep coming up every single time?

In any Test Draft, the above guys are first round picks. In any ODI or T20 Draft you've got Rashid Khan, Keiron Pollard, Chris Gayle, etc going in the first round. Let's make Drafts more interesting than that, guys. I really like this idea, but I do think it should be the previous pick and not just your pick.

Write an 11 out, in the order you’d pick them, where every player was in the debut or last appearance of each of the preceding players you’d picked.

I’ll be very surprised if you finish with that 11, not losing a single player.
