Bollywood Movie Thread

I saw the trailer of the game during the movie.. Its looking quite real.. I got confused.. why the heck are they showing the trailer of the movie I'm watching, that too during the interval !!
Lol.. only to realize it was a game :p

Can't really say that.. at first sight it looked good. will need to have a closer look to be able to comment on the graphics quality.

Recently during my India trip, caught up with all the latest Bollywood films like 'Dostana', 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and 'Ghajini'.

I loved 'Rab Ne' the most only because it was an original film whereas I had already watched Ghajini's original version (and absolutely love it that I own its original DVD). Aamir Khan almost matched Suriya (the actor in the original), Asin overdid it for me (she was more natural in the original), Pradeep Rawat was good here, the music and BGM was better in the original (even though the genius Rahman is at helm).

Dostana was time pass and a one time watch. Second time tried to watch it and couldnt pass through the whole film. Waiting for Victory and Chandni Chowk to China (only for the gorgeous Deepika Padukone!).

Ghajini's overall original version was Memento, you know. Which I doubt was toppled by either of the Indian versions, it was that good.

I heard everyone say that only the 'short term memory loss' concept was inspired from Memento. I dont think the whole film was taken from Memento. Aamir Khan even said that he couldnt understand Memento properly but he enjoyed Ghajini (Tamil). The director Murugadoss said once in an interview that someone talked to him about Memento and its short term memory loss concept and Murugadoss got excited and wrote the script based on it without seeing Memento, the film.

I havent seen Memento, and dont plan to see it since many people say its confusing and not as exciting as Ghajini (I am a fan of the Indian cocktail style!)

I've seen momento as well, that too before either Ghajini movies. At first I didn't even know it was a remake tbh, only the 15 minute thing really struck.

The Tamil movie was brilliant.

I watched a few movies this winter:

Dil Kabaddi: 4.5/5
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi: 3/5
Ghajini: 4/5

I have to say that both RNBDJ and Ghajini were quite unbelievable, but I think the premise of RNBDJ was far more unbelievable, at least if in Ghajini, the mental condition is real (which I don't know about). Also, the fact that everyone knew the story of Ghajini, pretty much, and it's still a big hit shows that it was made pretty well.

Dil Kabaddi was a great movie and its unfortunate it's so low budget that it only hit the metros. The movie is an absolute comedy and had me out of my seat so many times. Irrfan Khan is one of the finest comedy actors in the industry these days, methinks.

Watched all new movies recelntly the one i liked was Rab ne better than Ghajini.Dostana was quite good the best of this year was A Wednesday and Mumbai Meri Jaan. These too are must see.

Oh gosh, I missed 'A Wednesday'. Thats my favorite of the year. Low budget classic!

Our school showed us 'A Wednesday' on Children's Day!

Our school showed us a film after 3 or 4 years
