What I dont get is why Washington was forced out. Rohit was to walk in anyday, but has proven that he can't bat in the middle. KLR, on the other hand makes Perth look like a flash in the pan.
I assume Washington is out because they want their best spinner at Adelaide. Having Reddy in the team gives them a lot more flexibility with the bowling line up so they feel less like they have to pick Jadeja or Washington as a stronger batter at 7 and then four pace bowlers.

I think they felt they can't drop KLR after his performance at Perth and Rohit in the middle order potentially suits the team better. Rahul allows the stroke makers to play around him and then Rohit can play freely and aggressively. Of course that plan would work better at 280 for 4 not 80 for 4.

Last 2 days couldn't watch the match was busy with work and mum's hospital routine.

Here I am sunday morning with a glimmer of hope just maybe a little fightback and Pant goes out first Over lol.

Akash Deep instead of Rana would have been a good choice with the Pink ball.

From what I saw in the highlights and very little so far the Indian bowlers struggled to control or swing the ball.

Especially under lights on first day that was lackluster.

Rohit will now say "Losing one pink Test every year is allowed"

The 1st Test win was really a bonus. You simply can't come back after being dismissed for 150 scores. Our batting letting us down big time.

Full marks to Australia. This is what I was expecting from them from the start, so their loss in the 1st was shocking. I don't see anything else apart from 4-1 or 3-1 win for them.

Bumrah vs our batting lineup will win you another Test, but this one revitalised my confidence in 3-2

Damn, they still took 3 overs. Rohit should have simply started off with Siraj, match could have gotten over in the 1st over itself.

I don't get why they couldn't control the pink ball. They played a warmup prior to that and did decently well.

Furthermore, questions need to be asked don why we chose to bat first, considering that batting is our weak point.

Gavaskar on a roll- finally someone blasting Kohli. Expect Kohli to talk, as he always does. The good thing about this-people will talk about how Kohli has been an object failure in the last few years, bar the once in a bluemoon decent innings(Perth)
