As Rohit will comeback, rather than sending Rahul to middle order, it will be good, if they drop Gill and let Rahul to bat at 3.

At the end of the day if you are in day the top 50 players in your position out of a population of 1.4 billion. You are more likely gonna be better than your equivalent number in the pecking order in countries with far smaller populations which ofc makes NZ win even more impressive but I’m of the opinion that New Zealand maybe the best pound for pound overall sporting nation in the world with only Australia being able to challenge them really

I kinda disagree with this theory that 'smaller populated countries' victories are sweeter than bigger populated countries'. IMHO, it is actually harder to pick the right players out of a vastly bigger pool than it is to pick the right players from a smaller pool (what we call the 'problem of plenty').

Reminds me of Shaw's dismissal. 3 day test loading!

What a start to 2nd test!

Jaiswal goes first ball.

Pink ball will be great to watch.

At this point all batsman should just expect full swinging delivery to stumps from Starc. Peach of a delivery

Khwaja might have dropped the BGT trophy. 2 chances for KL in same over gotta make it count!

Decent start for India. Off to sleep but ending the day 200/5 would not be that bad.

Pathetic batting by India. Top 3 falling to really sad shots. Expected more from KL especially after that brilliant innings in Perth.

Kohli- shows a tendency to screw up outside off deliveries, but has shown a greater tendency to not to work on those.

Also, can we request that Shastri and Bhogle are taken off air? Ultra boring, cheesy and well past their prime now.

Only 4.3% of the balls were projected to hit the stumps in the first 15 overs compared to 10.4% of balls in the eight over post drinks. Australia bowled straighter and made India play 62.5% of the balls in the last eight overs compared to 54.3 in the first 15.

Something Pujara talked about in the post match after the 1st Test.

He said even in the last 2 tours don't target stumps enough and Indians knew about it and tackled it way.

Similar to 1st test 150 all out incoming I feel.

Australia bowled well after 15 overs

India thinking they can repeat the heroics of the 1st Test after getting dismissed for 150. Sorry, this Test is a goner.

Hard to think Australia will get bowled out under 200, let alone 104.

Australia firmly in control. India will hope to dismiss them in 200-220 range but it looks difficult at the moment. Need clusters of wickets desperately.
