Sorry, it's nothing really about your patch. I'm just being careful about what I download. I want to look at a lot of AI patches instead of just diving straight into yours...

No, Barmy Army. I put in the comments when I was giving the Reputation Points "Great Patch and good enthusiasm". That was all. I didn't put that in my last post because I hadn't thought of that then.

Game Modes:

As it was in beta, this patch support All game modes (Easy- for beginners, Normal- for amateurs, and Hard- for pro's) as well as All Game Versions (Tests, ODIs).

V1 Patch Hi-lights:

All the main features existing in beta patch is same included in this is well. Few Modifications are made after discussing in the tread are:

1. Every stroke's power,direction,height, is now almost perfect!

2. Edges is tuned down a bit!

3. Bowling is little more hard in HARD mode, coz lots of our friends find it pretty easy.

4. AI of the comp is also now improved. like pacing of the innings, field positions...

5. Few tough strokes are eased a bit like adv.st.drive, leg-glance...

6. Fielding uninstaller is provided.

7. Lots of swing and spin in test matches and moderate in ODIs.

8. As lots of our friend suggested, few shots flying to fence is also marked in check now. u need to really timed it well.

9. The bounce of the ball on the field (after hitting) is also perfect now!

10.Bit more aggressive (batting wise) AI in tests.

11.Autoplay is tweaked in Test Matches.(Even if u autoplay in tests the AI generates decent Score with reasonable Runrate).But am not sure abt ODIs, the AI is not that much clever as in Tests, u are requested to play as full match as possible in ODIs your self rather than Autoplay.

12.In test matches annoying "Bat-pad popups" is turned down.

13.You need to spend more time in tests to avoid the edges and to get correct timing of the shot, and in ODIs is well u have to spend more time for a six-hit, otherwise the shot mostly ended in a catch.

14.Edge values are modified in a new way, u have to play yourself to find it out!!!

Original Features:

(If u download this patch for the first time!)

1. The stroke direction for all the strokes are edited as it is in real life. If u timed it well u may find lot of runs or it'll go straight to the fielder. The power in shot is also depends on timing. If u go 4 the 6 hit straight away u may be end in the fielders hand.

2. You don't find timing as easy straight way!, u need to spend more time in crease.

3. All Pitches are modified. You can expect the ball ripping through the keepers glouse in hard pitch with lot of bounce, where as in damp pitch, the bounce will be half stump high..;-{,

4. Out field conditions changed (Dusty pitch, the ball raise through the fence, where as in damp pitch u need to time it perfect to find the fence.

5. The Seam/swing movement of the ball varies from pitch to pitch, (in green pitch the ball swings L to R, or R to L, but in dusty pitch the ball slightly deviate!). The Spinners partying on dust bowl pitches as in sub continents, where as in other countries the spin will be less.

6. All field settings are changed depends on the situation of the match. Accurately positioned fielders 4 the ODIs as well as Tests.(Computer fields are changed)

7. The AI of the computer is vastly improved. It more or less play depends on match situation. U can expect 100-160 runs in 20 overs game(dep. on the pitch type), 180-320 runs in the 50 overs game)dep on pitch type). As it was in EA game, the computer team is not going all guns blazing from ball no: 1 in 50 overs ODIs. It slowly bulit innings, and in end they may go for a kill. In Tests the avg run rate will be ranging from 2.5 to 4. (all the above are depends on various factors such as pitch type, match situation, and how well or how bad u bowl ;-]). The computer opponent is pretty hard to contain with in HARD mode. (but slightly low AI in normal mode, and bunch of bufoons in the Easy level).

I was playing India vs Australia, 50overs, on a dusty pitch. I was able to make 158 all out becasue of some foolish runouts but i noticed that everytime i play a straight drive it goes and hits the wickets on the other side. Once when i played the straight drive with tendulkar the ball hit the side of the stumps on the bowlers end and went for four. I have also noticed that playing with left handers is easier because i was able to hit sixex with them when they didnt even have and confidence. Suprizing thing was that i was able to make more runs with my tailenders. They made about 122 out of the 158. In the end i won the game by 50 runs becasue of 6 run outs. and the rest were stumped and caught off spiners.
 
Boss this is much better than last time.

Only thing I have noticed so far is that whatever form of straight drive you play (be it advance or just normal) the ball will always hit the wicket. Perhaps you could tweak the direction for all the straight drive shots so it has like a possibility of going in a narrow cone rather than truly deadly straight every time. Otherwise, batting is good. I haven't got onto bowling yet ;) :cool:

I check, the file is clear!(i.e w/o corruption/invalid), checkagain pal!!!

In the end i won the game by 50 runs becasue of 6 run outs

Is u play the game with Sam's "norunout" exe, that will surely down u'r num of R/Os

Hi Boss,
I played few overs with ur patch in test match .the Batting looks easy.i wonder how cpu is going to get out me.there was only on wicket through run out.i played it in hard level.

hi dinesh, keep on play and tell me if CPU do some magic to get u'r wicket. anyhow if more ppl find it easy then i may think abt unique HardCore Mode where u can play only if u should be a real pro with this game, time will tell!!!

Here is my own match review with my patch, screenshots will be posted tomorrow.

India(v)Aus At Melbourne (Hard Pitch)

Aus won the toss and deci to bat. Hayden,ponting didn't long last.They were both prey to pathan's agg good length bowling. But Gillie and Martyn study the ship and put on 100+, but again sachin rolls his arm over to get rid of martyn(who made 50+), and lehmann lose his stuff straightaway. Then rising hero of aussie's- Clarke plays on good knock and got 40+ i think, in btw Gillie reaches his ton(130+) and in end, in last 5 ove they made 45+, and at the end result, aussies sit in pretty at 272/4. only pathan and sachin got 2 wick each, others go wicket less.

Ind started well, but as usual ganguly was the prey for Mcgrath with short ball, he tries to hook and end in the hand of gillie. after that sachin and sehwag play sensibly and they mix caution with aggrssion and now were 68/1 after 12 overs, and i think i should fin the match tonight and tell u what happened?, and see u guys tomorrow with screenshot analysis of this match!!!

(friends, i need more match rev on ODIs/Tests to get the clear idea of whats happening upthere with this patch?)
