I have a complaint- in ODIs the CPU's shots go everywhere it is impossible to restrict them. It is not correct that backfoot shots go down to third man :confused:. Even that could go by if the straight drives were tweaked- I mean I get batsmen to drive only to find the ball racing away to midwicket or cover with late cuts going straight through my slip fielders!!! India vs.. RSA- RSA's 50 in 3.1 overs with the ball disappearing everywhere! A normal pitch, gray conditions with cool weather. I pitch the ball at a good length , CPU plays a shot straight drive and the ball flies through midwicket for four!!! Same ball re-bowled and midwicket in place, same shot-now it disappears through covers! :what This seriously needs to be fixed. Also tweak down edges a bit. This a great patch for tests and could be a great one for ODI's but make CPU a little less aggressive when batting first and tweak the areas through which shots go....please. :help

Edges

I don't get many edges with your patch anyway, and I like to get edges in a match. If you reduce them I probably will get none. I've been playing a Caribbean tour, and I've got an 80.0% success rate- bowling out the CPU for under 100 most times, definitely no more than 300. There was a rare occurence recently when I bowled the ball, and a thick top edge went straight to the wicketkeeper. It was great to watch.

saisrini i want the orginal because i am playing the online torn dey have a different felid settings and everything thats why when i am not playin online i put his felids i like his felid settings

the thing that needs to be tweaked is the placement of fielders after a few shots to the boundary!! 3 to 4 fielders start patrolling the boundary within the first 15 overs

i think this is also a EA bug. after hitting a 4 u see 2 fielders are in the same pos, even though there is no one therein my field settings. i can't do anythink abt it.

remember to realse the orginal field settings which where der b4

hi zd, In my next version u see shots will be in proper direction and the power values also tweaked a bit. as u said edges are more depends on timing. if u spend more time on crease u get less/no edges viceversa. anyhow i'm trying to get it right!

There was a rare occurence recently when I bowled the ball, and a thick top edge went straight to the wicketkeeper. It was great to watch.

Update of CoolGamePlayPatchv1

hi guys,
most of the bugs pointed out in the thread are almost fixed now!. here is the sneak peak!

1. every stroke's power,direction,height, is now almost perfect!
2. edges is tuned down a bit!
3. bowling is little more hard in HARD mode, coz lots of our friends find it pretty easy.
4. AI of the comp is also now improved. like pacing of the innings, field positions...
5. Few tough strokes are eased a bit like adv.st.drive, leg-glance...
6. fielding uninstaller will be provided.
7. lots of swing and spin in test matches and moderate in ODIs.
8. As lots of our friend suggested, few shots flying to fence is also marked in check now. u need to really timed it well.
9. the bounce of the ball on the pitch is also perfect now!
10. bit more aggressive AI in tests.
and lot more when i relase my patch on wednesday!, need more comments if u need to see any bug-fix. thanx 4 all of u'r support 4 my patch.

Played the ODI again........they started well in the first fifteen but my custom player and Kumble pegged them back. They played defensively when 7, 8 and 9 wickets were down to crawl past 200.......v.good after the first fifteen....please regulate that..........i like that u have made them go for a boundry per over.....206 all out after 38.something overs.............

Boss, Good patch. You can eliminate some of the run out by slightly increasing the speed of the ball after it leaves the bat. This is particular important for the on & off drives, where the run out bug is frequent. The ball will reach the players more quickly, hence the AI will not attempt to run.
