Brian Lara Cricket 2007 Bugs

May be you have seen. (The batsman can't see the ball). The batsman don't runs through the crease past the keeper, but they goes to a state to start the second run. This leads to runouts. I hate those runouts- not natural.
And the umpire shows notout each and every ball which returns to the keeper's or bowler's end.

I'd rather play this than any EA game. I used to play EA but have been way too disappointed from them

To make it harder i set my field badly like leaving the offside completely open although i find their batting quite hard on test mode. but this makes state hard because they start tonking you all over the place. i think the graphics are great, the shot selection is great, sure the opposition are pretty thick but its better than 2005. its a bit annoying how you can't change their names on this one though. its not as good as it was hyped up to be but its better than brian lara 05 and it beats the ea sports games by 700 runs. They could instead of making a patch finish the game properly and bring out a second edition. like they did here in australia with our football game.

i bowled a 35 mph delivery with KP :

the flight was above the batsman's head ....dipped in and by this
time, shane watson was having fantasies about the girl he just saw in the stands or something i dunno... but he played it really late(nothing special) and guess what... he played the reverse sweep for a full toss. the ball hit the back of the bat, tossed up to KP and what do you expect now ? a C&B right ! But no.... KP decides to run up to the umpire(gay?) and the ball lands just before him while KP is still attached to steve bucknor ! :confused:

i think you'se should be happy with what you got. its better than brian lara 05. i mean there is people complaining about run outs and bad catching animations and that you don't get fine edges (i got a fine edge that almost winded the keeper it wasn't loopy at all) but heck its better than ea where the computer does all the fielding and its better than brian lara 05. there is two main catching animations on that game, catch it at your feet or juggle it like a clown. at least you can run them out, and the graphics on 2005 look crap. i think 2007 is fine i can make it harder with my field and if you go into graphics options and turn off the bowlers pitch map and the other bowler thing(can't remember what it is called) you can;t see where he is going to bowl it until he releases it. its so much more fun because you have a split second to react and you get out more. i only got 119 in 20/20 and got beaten by india by 5 wickets. most of the bugs your complainig are like so what i didn;t even notice or care about them until i read this.

Found a small bug the other day, but not seen it since, Bowled a 90+ MPH ball at the batsman, and it hit him fairly hard and hurt him so it was basically a dead ball, but the ball continued to move down the pitch pretty quickly and wasn't stopping. During this my fielders wouldn't move to retrieve the ball and I couldn't advance past the screen to start bowling my next ball... the original ball eventually went for four runs. =/

As a suggestion it'd also be nice to see proper ball animations for bowlers. At the moment I think every ball bowled, as seen in the replays has a scrambled seam (IIRC in '05 every ball including spin had a straight seam). There's no straight seam for pace bowlers, and no angled seam for spinners or for pace off/leg cutters.

sorry i'm talking about our aussie rules football game.they brought out a second edition of the 2004 game because the first one was really bad. so there was afl 2004 and then afl 2004 premiership edition (meaning better than the first)

This game doesn't seem to be as good as BLIC 2005
Each time the fielder throws the ball to the keeper he hits the stumps & appeals..this is getting to annoying.

you can fix this by throwing and stopping the bar in the middle and sometimes he will knock the bails
