Ideal pricing for AAA Games in India on PC platform from mid-2013 is INR 1499. Unless it is a game by the greedy Electronic Arts and its Indian distributor, Milestone Interactive. Companies like Ubisoft, Rockstar, 2K Games, Sqare Enix, Activision have been established among Indian gamers and have made them accept the 1.5k pricing for Indian releases though it was INR 999 some days ago. Valve offers still lesser pricing. Only those distributed by Milestone, including EA, Capcom and others have price-tags that makes you think before buying. On another note, Ashes Cricket 2013 has been priced at INR 1499. EA's FIFA and Konami's PES franchises always have similar pricing. Sometimes, PES offers a little lower price to get in competition of sales. This time, FIFA 14 costs INR 2499 and PES hasn't revealed Indian pricing yet. If BigAnt prices DBC14 aptly at 1499 mark for PC, they'll definitely drag Indian PC gamers to them. For consoles, 2500-3500 is a good price. I would personally suggest BigAnt not to settle with Milestone Interactive for the distribution of this game in India.
