Buying Don Bradman Cricket 14 in Asia

By any chance, does flipkart deliver to the whole of the subcontinent or just India? I mean, if there is any such service that delivers to Pak, BD and SL and based in India, there's absolutely no reason to worry.

No it doesn't.

Does Flipkart deliver internationally?

As of now, Flipkart doesn't deliver items internationally.

You will be able to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world with credit/debit cards issued in India and 21 other countries, but please ensure the delivery address is in India.

We have had substantial interest from UAE (I confess to knowing nothing about the market).

what about the availability in Sri Lanka !!! one of the test playing top nations by the way :D

yes its true. even if they dont officially send the game here it will still be available somehow. and also its pal region here so xbox version will also be available

Mate, it's absolutely not true. If you want to source the game via third parties for about 1/3rd+ more of the price on Souq.com or Dubizzle, then yes... SOME games are available slightly early, but not ALL games. Virgin Megastore has day one releases of all major (AAA) titles (including ACIII last year being released at the same time globally).

Lots of of Australian, British and Indian expats would prolly foster that interest quite a bit, since all of them are all working professionals on visas with a good chunk disposable income.

^ Yes it should given that Sri Lanka is a major cricket playing nation.

Unless and until the game is available on Flipkart we need not have to worry.

So...for people who are worried about the pricing of this game in India....here is an update which 'may' suggest the pricing of DBC14 as well in India:

Sony raises PS3 game prices; more publishers to follow | India games industry news | MCV India

Sony has increased the prices of upcoming PS3 titles Beyond: Two Souls and Gran Turismo 6.

Both games were previously priced at Rs 2,999, but are now increased to Rs 3,499.

The price hikes are attributed to the continuing decline of the Rupee, which today stands at Rs 67 against the US Dollar.

It is widely expected that other publishers will follow suit. Games from several publishers are currently priced at Rs 2,799 or Rs 2,999, and many of these are expected to increase.

Retailer buzz suggests that Grand Theft Auto 5, which is only two weeks away from release, will also receive a price hike, although the exact amount is not known yet.

Distributors appear helpless to prevent these price increases. With high custom duties and the freefalling Rupee, it?s becoming increasingly difficult to keep prices down.

While it is understandable to see prices of third-party publishers? games go up, it?s a little strange to also see first-party PS3 games get more expensive. These games are now manufactured in India and therefore do not incur the import duties that third-party games do, so one would assume the pressure to raise prices wouldn?t be as high on these games.

Whatever the case, until the Rupee starts to recover, gamers should be prepared for prices to go up further across the board.

If there?s a game coming up that you?re interested in, it would be wise to preorder it now through retailers like Flipkart, who won?t charge you more when the prices go up.

Bitch Congress! Their corrupt government is causing me to shell out more for a video game now. Expect PC prices to follow suit and hit anywhere between INR 1999 & INR 2499. Sigh.

Waiting for dbc14 to appear on flipkart for pre order, only if ross gives a release date. That ac13 has preorder available since months but who is dying to grab it.

Assuming this does not hit India on Day 1, I am thinking of importing the game from Australia. Does anyone know what's the custom duty you have to pay on a video-game? I have a few contacts in Australia that can buy the game and ship it to me.

anyone mattw or ross does any of you know whether the game will release in sri lanka:spy

not going to happen. everyone there (I mean the majority play PC pirated copies). you have to order online.

I'm hoping it will be available on playasia (free worldwide shipping). they also have ashes,
Ashes Cricket 2013 | Buy Ashes Cricket 2013 (Europe Version) for PlayStation 3 (PS3)
Ashes Cricket 2013 | Buy Ashes Cricket 2013 (Europe Version) for Xbox360 (360)

so there is a good chance big ant cricket will be available on playasia... if not I will buy it on xbox store since i have $65 left after the point conversion :) otherwise PS3 for me

Very much expected given the free fall mode the Rupee is in at the moment. It's sad but I guess we will have to deal with it.
