Story [C2007] Australia in New Zealand

Both the teams are well balanced :) , hope to see an even fight ;)

After ten overs Australia are 50-1, with Brad Haddin and Ricky Ponting at the crease. Phil Jaques is the only batsman out as he was bowled by Shane Bond. Haddin has scored a run-a-ball 28.

The pitch looks to have plenty of pace because a delivery from Bond bounced over the batsman's head and over wicket keeper Brendon McCullum's head for four byes. Australia's Brett Lee may relish this pace.

Match Update: Australia 50-1 (10 overs)

Good Start for us :) , though not good start for Jaques :(

Australia have lost two more wickets in the ten overs since the last update, and both of them were key players. Ricky Ponting and Mike Hussey were both bowled out by Daniel Vettori and Michael Mason respectively. Those were intelligent bowling changes by Stephen Fleming.

Brad Haddin is still at the crease and is impressing in his attempt to stay in the team.

Match Update: Australia 95-3 (20 overs)

Kiwis are in commanding position! But i expected Bond to damage the top order ;) Com'on Bond.. Com'on Kiwis! :)

In the ten overs since the last update, the match has been topsy-turvy with both teams being on top at some stage.

Australia wicket keeper Brad Haddin scored a half century and in the process he played some excellent shots.

New Zealand spin bowler Daniel Vettori took three wickets in one over to put his team on top again leaving Australia on 146-6 with 20 overs remaining.

Australia are 215 all out in the first one-day international of the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy at Auckland. New Zealand are on top.
