Auction Rules and Advice
*
Your squad will consist of 15 players: 9 from Canada, and six from overseas. At least six of your overseas players must be from Associate nations.
* In each phase of the auction, I have split the players into two social groups.
* The domestic auction starts as soon as you have received your invitation to the social groups.
* Each player has a base price from $20,000 to $50,000. This is not necessarily a perfect indicator of quality, but should be a good guide.
* The minimum amount by which a bid must be raised to beat it is $1,000, and all bids should be a multiple of $1,000.
* A player will be declared sold if the current highest bid is no further raised for a period of 24 hours.
* In the first phase of the auction you will be buying your nine domestic players.
* It's your responsibility to keep a track of how many players you have bid for. If you lead the bidding on more than nine players at any one time, your
most recent bid will be declared invalid.
*
Your budget across both auctions is $1,000,000. Remember to leave enough money to buy some of the better players later.
* Because your budget is for both auctions, all leftover money will be carried over to the international auction.
*
You cannot delete bids. If I find that you have done so, your most recent bid will also be deleted.
* If you have any doubts or difficulty in understanding any of the above points, then post them asap. If you've understood everything, then can you please post here confirming that you have, so we can start the auction asap.
Social Group invitations are being sent out ASAP.
