With only two places left on this year's CPL franchises for local players, we will wait to find out who else will be signed.

Among the hopefuls will be national regulars Zahid Hussain and Ruvindu Gunasekara. Hussain has been playing One-Day cricket for almost 20 years, having made his debut in 1993 for Sargodha in Pakistan, before moving out to Canada. Ruvindu Gunasekara has had some more recent overseas success, playing in Sri Lanka, the land of his father, for Chilaw Marians.
