Canadian Premier League 2 - Complete. League for sale.

^Why aren't Tendo and Cooper included in the auction aren't they associates?

Yes they are, but Tendo would be tied up with Essex, and Cooper rarely plays anywhere other than for the national team or for South Aus. Basically I went for players who probably wouldn't be tied up elsewhere, although I thought Lumb and Wessels were mercenary enough, and that Zimbabwean rebels Ballance and Ireland would want the world stage to be able to perform.

Basically, I tried to be realistic.

Michael Lumb in the bag!:thumbs *Fist Pump*
Also happy to secure the services of Van Der Gugten and Goudie, which competes my Quota of 2 Associates :thumbs

Quebec and Vancouver have got in early and completed their squads with a range of good value picks. However, the salaries commanded by top international players have so far been much less than those earned by Canadians. Currently, no team seems to have managed to put together a perfectly balanced squad, although the closest to the mark appears to be Ottawa - although they may run short of cash.

Many more internationals have been picked up in the last day or so as the international auction moves at a much faster pace than the domestic auction. It would also be nice for managers to realise that if I have not added a player to this list it is because they have not yet been sold, not because I forgot them, or because you have posted "24 hours so hogg sould be mine" and moved Hogg right back to the top of the list, so I miss him... ;)

Four Places Left - Who Will Be Picked?

With the International Auction almost complete, the teams are beginning to take shape. Toronto are currently leading the bidding on batsman Kyle Coetzer who would complete the quota of associate players nicely. At the same time, Ottawa are fighting for Cameron White, the explosive Australian

So we know that those two will end up somewhere, but what of the other two places that are yet to be filled? One of them could very well go to Rob Nicol, the Kiwi batsman who has started his ODI career with a bang so violent that after six matches he averages almost 70 with two centuries to his name. Another contender would have to be Gary Ballance, the Zimbabwean rebel who averages almost sixty in each form of the game.

They aren't by any means the only contenders though - also among the remining hopefuls are the Bangldeshi duo of Siddique and Kayes, as well as one-day bowlers like Jeetan Patel and Rubel Hussain, who all have respectable ODI records.

Gary Ballance-He Is Awesome

That post was well written. It's a joy reading the updates by following this league. You're managing this extremely good, Author. ;)

Oh dear... looks like Venk is trying to select two teams rather than one... better tell him to stop bidding :lol

insulation without consultation

?

I'd told you that you'd completed your team, you then continued to bid. I then make a light-hearted remark and you say that...

Sorry if you were offended, can definitely say no offence was meant.
