Just to check, definitely no way to use a created player in academy as your career player?

Don't think so. Ridiculous really given this option was clearly available on both the earlier BA cricket games.

I have the exact same problem and have asked a few times on the forum but never had a reply!

It's frustrating as no matter what I bowl, I can't get wickets. I have had 4 so far.

I am not sure if it's a bug. But, yes Indian Career Mode starts from first class. There's a catch though, we have two first class tiers I think. We start of on typical first class, which is like the real life Ranji Trophy. Then there's the Zonal Teams, we are supposed to progress to, which are like the real life (old format) Duleep Trophy!

Ahh okay so it does mirror real life which is good. I always thought Ranji trophy was the top level in 1st class Indian cricket like Qaid e Azam trophy is top level in Pakistan.

It technically is, but Duleep Trophy in the past was a combination of different zones in India. So, that's why it is above Ranji only in the total number of states involved in the team.

Bit worrying, my go-to career is wrist spinner. Maybe turning ai edges/wicket chance up on the sliders would be the go for now.

Played 7 first class shield games now and every single time I’ve come into bat with the score at 4/100 +/- 5 runs.

The patterns I’ve picked up with the AI simulation are starting to ruin my experience now.

I have 11 wickets in 13 matches right arm off spinner, playing on HARD I am a batting all rounder in game....seems reasonble to me

First career game for England with my customer created player added to the England squad as an opener.

England won toss and put Ireland into bat. A rain delay after 14.4 overs lead to the Ireland innings being reduced to 10 overs. Ireland scored 255-4 off their 40 overs.

At innings turnaround, the game said that England required 2 runs to win from 40 overs (so there had not been a second rain delay added). Proceeded to knock off the two runs in the first over and thus won the game.

Cut scene of England celebrating with the trophy!! Yeah great.........

Reported in bug section. Anybody else had similar issues with Duckworth Lewis?

I’ve ended up restarting career with a fast bowler as it’s defo easier

This would be an awesome addition, not really much point in wasting my valuable skill points on fielding stats at the moment. I haven’t got time to watch over after over of the ball being nowhere near me.

Same i don't have time to watch hours of it. Yes ive played the baseball. Where it cuts to you when it goes somewhere near you

Playing a day night shield match, Slater keeps talking about the players going off for lunch at the end of the over, EVERY FRIKKIN OVER. So annoying.

lol thats your first problem - listening to the commentary. Its horrible. This isn't NBA 2K remember? I just take out commentary altogether (I mean at the end of the day when you're on the field you can't hear the commentary anyway). Works so much better then.

Anyone knows if a created player I download from Community can be used in career mode? There is create a rookie and Star player option but the player I downloaded does not show up under star player. Are there any specific stats that tags a player as Star? I am playing on PS4 so i can't add playface to my rookie, I created one on PC and shared it so i can dowanload on my PS4 and play, but doesnt seem to work.

Id hope so
