i started a career today - i created a player with a 50 rating for sri lanka and did a star player career - im playing for first game - ODI vs England and half the Sri Lankan players arent even real names - why isnt just using the real squad - i have 6 real players and 5 fake names - doesnt make it enjoyable - can it be fixed? i dont want to wait till im captain so i can select real players?

How is it done ? Can you explain ? Create a player in the academy and add to INTERNATIONAL team and select the player while selecting World Championship?

yeah exactly - but if you use that player in career mode - half your teammates dont have real names - takes the fun away really - i really hope there is a fix on this?

I remember somebody in YouTube channel did play WC2019 with created player (Aus) and Aus players in the XI.. not sure who it was..

It will never be fixed as it is a feature....the database of club players created when u start a career also plays matches.in virtual reality..they also play well enough to be selected for higher tier..while the so called real players can also play crap and not be selected for higher tiers..its called DYNAMIC squads...thats how it plays...

I think it's a great feature. I've been playing 4 seasons now, and happen to be playing for Lancashire with 2/3 of the players I started at club level with who were good. A decent bat, my opening pace bowling partner and a spinner. It's great to see them progress and attaches a sense of realism not unrealistic.

Completely agree also at Lancashire still open batting with jennings also several others still there plus the youth its enjoyable

There are teams in the academy, I'm uncertain skill/perk-wise how they shape up but the names and general skin tones are correct. I myself am hoping for intervention in the play face department

Apologies if it's a stupid question, is it possible to change the teams when in career mode? The England T20 team in my save is well random, includes some what you'd expect and then some made up players.

In club career, am always forced to play scoring shots because I run out of partners most of the time.

In the process I either end up 40-60 not outs or get out in 20-30s.

I’ve just been selected for first class cricket (county cup) for Yorkshire. But in the first game players like Joe Root and Bairstow aren’t there, anyone know why? Are they on international duty or something or do I have to download them from the academy.

It's likely they weren't in the starting lineup when you started career mode to stop them playing all the time. Since they play internationals it was probably done on purpose.
