If we hadn't have won, it would've been one of those 'travesties' that happen from time to time in football. In fact, it was a bit of a travesty that we only won by one goal, but your keeper played an absolute blinder. Do you think you can get a better result than 2-1 next week, Will?

No, but all I can do is hope. We just have to stop you from scoring.

To call in a "travesty" would be a gross exaggeration, Man Utd would have been unfortunate, but its hardly anything more, unless you take it too seriously off course.

My prediction is that Arsenal will take the game 1-0 and then probably go out in extra time, that said, if Arsenal concede then the game will be as good as over.

And yes, RE: the above point, the fluke I was referring to was the fact that Carrick's cross was going away from all the Man Utd players in the box till Silvestre deflected into the path of O'Shea, the finish was obviously not a fluke.

Fair enough, it was a bit like pinball in that Arsenal defence for that corner. Maybe Silvestre did it on purpose... :p

I think the last three results at the Emirates have been 2-1, 2-1 and 2-2? Either way, unless either side gets off to some kind of amazing start, it's going to be a classic European night.

We had the four really good chances in the game though, the goal, Tevez shot, and the Rooney and Ronaldo's headers. For all Arsenal's posession in the second half, they didn't really do anything when it got to around the box.

Agent Silvestre.:spy;)

To be fair to Silvestre, he was very good in the second half. Then again, he had already given you the goal you paid him for. He couldn't make it too obvious.

I reckon having RVP back is a bigger boost for us than having Rio fit is for United. At least I hope so.

I have a whole scenario in my head about how the game will go but I won't post it cos it's kind of long. It ends with us winning btw and Smeagolstre betraying us.

He did well in the first leg, bar the goal, mind.

Clichy's still out and it looks as though Silvestre will be as well.

I think Arsenal's failure to score at Old Trafford wil determine which way this tie goes. I will be seriously amazed if we don't score at least one goal with the way your defence is at the moment.

If we go out, it'll be our own bloody fault! We must have had at least four clear chances at Old Trafford.

Still, it wouldn't be the Man Utd way if we didn't make it hard for ourselves!!! :D

Hope for something like this.

--------------Almunia---------------

--Sagna--Toure---Silvestre--Gibbs-

--------------------Song------------
---------Fabregas(c)---------------
---------------------------Nasri-----
--Walcott---------------------------
----------------------RVP-----------

-------Adebayor---------------------

Walcott and Nasri to track back, RVP and Walcott to give Adebayor support. SIlvestre instead of Djourou as Djourou tends to make odd decisions and isn't that dominant in the air.
