Iniesta can replace Rib?ry too .

If i'm picking a world xi, i think we should try to find a way to fit all four of messi, ronaldo, van persie and falcoa in it...

So i'm a try a 3-4-3 diamond setup:

---------------------------Buffon--------------------------

-------------Ramos--------Vidic-------Kompany-------------

---------------------------Y Toure--------------------------

--------------Xavi------------------Pirlo/Iniesta--------------

---------------------------Messi----------------------------

Ronaldo--------------------Van Persie-------------Falcoa

I think it's better to remove Messi and Ronaldo, they are in a league of their own and will always make it, what everyone cares about is the others.

---------------------------Buffon-------------------------
-------Piszczek-----Kompany----Ramos---------Lahm------
--------Ribery-----Xavi--------Yaya Toure-----Iniesta-----
-----------------van Persie-----Falcao--------------------

Something like that, maybe Lahm out to bring in Ibra. Ribery is underrated IMO, he has been absolutely dynamite for Bayern. 5 goals and 12 assists in 21 for Bayern this season, of which 4 goals and 7 assists are in his 12 Bundesliga appearances and 15 goals and 26 assists in 50 last season.

I am amazed at the standard of refereeing during the Celtic match tonight - every time Celtic had a corner, a Juve defender had his arms fully around a Celtic player - if that isn't a foul, I don't know what is!

Yeah, it was pretty bad... Got to give it to Juve' though, looked so solid out there and that midfield, got to be one of the best in the world.

In a period of world football where a lot of defenses look horribly porous - the back-line of juventus in the last two seasons has been a breath of fresh air. Showing the classic Italian "catennacio" virtues.

I didn't think juve were that solid at the back, but celtic's response to conceding a silly goal in the first few minutes was naive. the game looked a tactical mess at points, I suppose had celtic taken one of their chances you'd applaud them but pouring forward after going 1 down was silly and they deserved to lose, they were punished harshly for a few silly errors but that's how it goes in the last 16 of the CL.

the problem juve will have I think is that wherever Pirlo goes, shutting him down can make the difference between his team being brilliant or average, I thought celtic did a lot better job of pressuring him than chelsea did and juve looked a lot less slick overall because of it.

interesting to note despite the constant resistance to goal line technology the first goal was attributed to matri, whereas if marchisio hadn't slammed home the follow up it probably would have gone down as no goal at all.

Here comes the standard British press moaning about the Juve defenders "holding" whilst ignoring the constant shoving and pushing of the Celtic players.

It really was six of one and half a dozen of the other. The Celtic players were just as bad, and the ref did very well to realise it was mutual. I really can't stand Neil Lennon either, just comes across as a vile man.

Juve were excellent defensively, and Celtic were incredibly wasteful from good positions.

Biggest mistake was starting Ambrose though, how on earth Lennon thought it was acceptable to start someone who has just won the Afcon and had arrived back in the country on the day of the game is unfathomable. Was always going to be mentally slow, and so it proved when he gave away two goals and missed a free header.

Alberto Undiano Mallenco (the one who was officiating the match) is a very good referee, somebody who nearly referees all the big derbies in Spain, due to his ability to calm things down. Was funny to see him getting the stick from Lennon really.

Hope he gets a ban for his comments, he should get probably.
