Have any of you started to change John Agnew's commentry bits for other people? I've already started putting Tony Greig, Bill Lawry and Richie Benaud in there.

That's great plz tell us how to do dat
Ok,
1. First of all you need some cricket videos on your PC
2. Import that video into windows movie maker (or any other simalar program)
3. Edit the clip to whatever bit of audio you want and delete the video that goes with it
4. Save the audio clip - make sure it is a wma file
5. Convert the wma file to a wap file
6. Delete the agnew clip you don't want and replace it with the one you have made.

thats awesome id like some more effort rather than 'bowled him'

gr8 commentary but wont it sound funny if Richie Benuaud nd Jim maxwell r saying some of the things and Bill lawry n Agnew r saying otherthings?

I've got the Ashes 2005 DVD box set, which should have plenty of examples of commentary from Boycott, Benaud, Stats, Athers, Mark Nicholas and Tony Greig. I have a DVD ROM drive in my computer, would this be sufficient to get audio clips off?

If so, how do I isolate the particular part I want?

I'd be more than willing to contribute to changing the commentary, if I get the answers to the above questions I'll start as soon as possible. One thing that would be helpful, though, is a list of what all the individual commentary files say, so they could be replaced more accurately.

One last thing - I had a brief look at the commentary files, and from what I can make out, an event ingame directs the commentary to a particular folder, from which a random comment is made. Is this correct, and if so, does that mean we can put an unlimited amout of .wav files in the folders?

Cheers
