I have seen the vBookie thread taking bets on the winner of the PlanetCricket Battrick competitions, so the season must be drawing to a close.

Am I right? When does the new season start? Can my team join the competitions next season?

That's for the Shield (All teams not in the league). Now that the Shield is over, those teams and Voldy's and my team will all go to Div 3 in the PC League when the league finishes. There are gaps in Divs 3 and 2, so if you are active with your BT Team, you should be able to get a spot there.
