Your Cricket Classifying pace bowling

It depends on the level that you play. If you are a club bowler, then it'll be...

40-45mph: Medium
45-55mph: Medium fast
55-65mph: Fast medium
65mph+: Fast

For a county bowler, it'll likely be...

40-50mph: Medium
50-60mph: Medium fast
60-70mph: Fast medium
70mph+: Fast

How would I classify my pace, at 13?

For example:

Is for full grown men, how would you rank for a player of my age? On that scale, I'm not even medium, but I'm not exactly a slow bowler, for my age.

Dont worry mate you will get pace age by age not in 13.Do you think you will bowl 150 in the age of 13 you can't so practice practice and practice that's the key you will get speed by the age dont worry about speed to be a bowler it is not like you have to get speed even if you are medium pace bowler you can be legend biggest example is sir ian botham and kapil dev.:)

Lol Aditya is a coach now. Btw Aditya, according to you Practising more and more will increase the pace. So a 10year child can bowl 90mph if he practice?

Perfect one Covvy Boy!Line and length are the main at your age Jake...Pace comes naturally as you grow...At your age if you can bowl at 90-100 kph it's enough..But yeah your line and length needs to be strong and you need to almost master over it when you're 17 or 18...

They are definately the most effective. You'd find the faster bowlers tend to go all over the place resulting in plenty of runs.

At club level the batsmen basically get themselves out top of off at an average pace would get you a place in a good teams first XI.

Have you done some BCCI coaching course??Advice him to be natural.....Practice...Practice...Practice???And that'll increase pace...Mate Pace comes natural...It comes by your built...It comes by age...

@jake:As you're in Australia you've got an advantage as a fast bowler....

That's what.......Glenn McGrath is a perfect example of accurate bowling......

Dont mean to beat a dead cat so to say lol... but yea dont worry about your pace mate, line and length... work on line and length and being able to move the ball... Pace will come, but if you desperatly need to know if you are fast if your bowling 100km/h already, youve got some good pace going.

Far out. I know that line and length and everything is important, I just want to know how fast I bowl, and how it compares.

If you're 13 and now if you bowl at 100 Kph..In future you're a speed machine...
If you bowl at 80-90.....You'll reach 120-130 in future...(Only if your exercise is regular)
If you're 60-70 now....You'll reach 110-120...A medium pacer..

Well my friend was clocked at 108 roughly at 13, and I'm almost as quick or as quick at my fastest, so I'm probably around the 90kph to 110kph mark, turning 14 in 19 days.
