This is the only valid question you have raised. These products are clearly being targeted towards schools and such so it would be the government that would probably be investing in it. Otherwise, it's basically a way to get technology into the hands of someone who can't otherwise afford it.

6.Why not lower the prices of advanced computers.

Why don't I get to fly first class whenever I want to? Your logic really does not follow. They have designed this computer for a specific purpose and budget.

1. How do you say that? At that price, people who cant afford the higher end ones will be able to get it, and they are benefitted

2. People who can afford money are going to buy the higher end ones because it offers more power and productivity. This one will be popular with the people who cant afford much money. And at Rs 1500 (and with the price expected to go down), cant see how big money they will make

don't be stupid this aint to replace deskt or lap, this is for the one who cant afford a full fledged system noway its gonna meet the pc-lap standards but it is a positive step which will help the poor ones with some practical knowledge..
