im no expert but the fact that english opening bowlers are reverting to the slower ball so early..does this suggest there's no movement in the pitch..lack of swing

Yea not much swing so thats definitely the way to go. And what do you know a slower ball has got Gilly, don't know why hes trying to smash it as hes already aggressive enough.

I think his form is just fine, hes just been getting out to silly shots a bit too much this series. All he has to do is play his normal game not go over aggressive. Gee that was close call for Ponting.

If only EA would watch the games when they make player models they would relise what Plunkett actually looks like and that there leisure suit Larry player model doesnt quite suit him..loving roy in the comm box

Thats the good thing about having a Ponting at number 3, even if you lose an early wicket hes still there trying to play aggressive and counter attacking in the process.

Judging from that over monty might struggle today...He might get a stumping if someone ups the tempo though..but having said that there's no need at the moment to up the tempo..has he been brought on by freddy to early?
