Lost 8 wickets for about 70 runs.
After such a great start the middle order have blown it.

The worst i hve ever seen the exposure of wickets from Australia :crying

Hodge is more than capable of hitting it, just have to see the NZ match and the fact he scored a 90 in 50 odd balls in a 20/20 match.

Gee what a collapse couldn't even bat out the inns pathetic batting by the middle/lower order.

And thats it. we can chase this down. theres a game on,maybe this slower ball stuff works ;) we have a chance if Loye fires here but it's time for the Aussie attack to perform with te pressure on defending a lower total than they are used to. i best get the day off for snow because this will be close

Mahmood still did his job taking wickets and if I remember, he bowled 7 in Powerplay overs, not a bad effort at all. Even Leicester_fox's biased views must be struggling for a real reason to drop one of the opening bowlers. :p

We will attack from the begining :)

They've defended much less before so it's nothing new for this bowling attack. Watson at least will come in handy with his bowling, if we had to bowl the part timer for a full 10 that could have been the game.

Mahmood wasn't that good with the new ball. He was lucky to get the wicket of Gilchrist as he picked the slower ball and he was not cheap in the powerplays but i wouldn't drop him. Monty and Collers were the stars of that performance in the field

Yeah, I'd sooner Hodge at six or seven than Watson for that very reason.

You know, this requires a record chase to win at the MCG.
The same MCG were Australia chased down 292 last week?

What record is it? Highest ever run chase on a Friday or something?

Allo Allo Allo, Australia looked like getting 600 and get only 252 lol Ah well. Well done to Freddie for his good bowling, to Collingwood for his great catching and throwing and Bell proves yet again that mice can catch! Hehe. Poor showing by the Aussies in the mid to late stages of the innings, now they gotta show their worth with the ball..
