configuration utility error

hi guys please help me out when i am all set to play after it checks for the disk it gives me a configuration utiliy error sorry for inconvenince window and closes down the same thing happens when i try to open the configuration.exe file .i have a nvidia fx5200 graphic card

thts odd. the error which u r talking abt occured in most of the peoples game when the first bowl was bowled! also the error was of cricket.exe not of configuration.exe. u can post yur specs then maybe it will be easier to solve the issue.. i got a similar error of the game returning after the first but thankfully i was able to solve it...
