Conspiracy 365 Mafia - End Game - Town Win

Not a fan of repeating what everyones said so I will just go through the debatable ones.

He was up and about, going about his business, as he had done the previous night. He knew what he was doing tonight, but so did the girl. She walked up to her target and asked him for some information. The nice guy he was, he told her what he knew. By the time they had finished talking, it was getting late and he decided to not bother. ?Maybe next time,? he whispered to himself.

I think the girls the cop based on the assumption she gets information? Maybe not the cop in the conventional sense but someone who can find your role information.

She had sat still the previous night but she knew her target and she knew he had information. After all, he was an important person. As the boy walked home, she pulled up beside him in her car and forced him into the boot. Another person was looking for this guy, but he couldn?t find him. He wondered where his target was.

Jailkept and not silenced or roleblocked. Mafia act because putting someone in to the boot is the negative character. Worse from what it seems mafia have got someone useful here, because they targeted them last night

*AGREE WITH VARUN*

He had done his job the previous night but this time, his boss had an even bigger task for him. He chose his position on top of a building where he knew his target would be near. He found his target and set up for one shot. He let the bullet fly and it was going to hit before a young female voice shouted, ?Get out of the way!? The target had moved out of the way just in time and fled from the scene, not wanting to risk it anymore out in the open. ?Boss won?t like the news tonight either,? he said to himself, and hoped he didn?t end up in the oil tank.

AGREE WITH ABHAS

He knew what he was doing. His target was up to no good. He had a gun himself and knew it was the time to use it. He didn?t handle a gun often and he hoped he could his target from this range. He let the shot away and the unsuspecting man fell to the ground. There was nothing to save him.

I know its been said its a vigilante, but what if its a serial killer that can alternate nights? I mean its very reckless for the vigilante to kill someone randomly, personally I didnt see Themer play suspiciously. I am not ruling out a SK.

------------

I have pointed out why I think Aditya is mafia, but I dont seem to have enough support. I know its a hunch but I am starting to get mafia vibes from him.

Tsk, tsk, editing your posts. Get ready for the modkill. :p

Just scratched the bit, and added Agree with Varun and Abhas, for better clarification.

In my defence, it doesnt say so in the rules :p

Or she might be the the doc girl as the doc didn't have any use on Night 0 so perhaps the role was not used.

Had a second thought about this and I'm fairly sure now that the girl who stayed low on night 0, and who kidnapped the boy on night 1 is one and the same.

Nothing like a mafia getting killed during night time.

Write-up's been pretty much analyzed by all of you, which is why I thought it would be best to just say whom I felt most suspicious. It's fitting the puzzle very nicely too, following Themer's death.

As you all know, I was highly suspicious of Dr.Pepper as inferred by this post yesterday:

http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/2232751-post251.html

During my duel with Dr.Pepper, it was Themer and only Themer who was constantly voicing his support for Dr.Pepper as from these posts:

Inclined to agree with Mani at the moment Haarithan, the whole manner of how its gone has been slightly odd. That said I wouldn't be surprised if Manly was joking.

Both Mani and Themer happened to find my claim odd, which was beyond ridiculous given the common occurrence of the role.

You were a bit over the top there and if anyone was making a big deal over it it was you then.

Though this doesn't entirely prove anything, it was Themer again vouching his support for Mani.

Also, this post of Callum's pretty much summarizes why I'm inclined to lynch Dr.Pepper:

I'm just looking back through Themer's posts yesterday, and he started out pretty content with a no lynch. He then weakly jumped to Dr. Pepper's defense/agree with him when Haari claimed. He was the sixth person to lynch RPHKR, so pretty much just jumped on the bandwagon. Interestingly Dr. Pepper was the one to lynch RPHKR before Themer. Straight after Themer's lynch Tom jumped on the bandwagon, followed a bit later by Chewie, Near, and finally Mark. Yeah, I'm not really sure how much we can read into any of that, but at a guess I'd say at least one of the RPHKR lynches after Themer would have been from a mafia.

So,

Lynch: Dr.Pepper

I want to FOS Dr Pepper and CG123. Mani because of the above and Callum because I don't trust him :p

So,

Lynch: Dr.Pepper

Firstly, it was odd. You just claimed double voter completely out of the blue and just slipped it in a sentence. How is that not odd!? Also given that Ben claimed DV as well, I was highly suspicious (I didn't know he was joking at the time).

Themer has shown to be a good player, would he really be so obvious in his buddying? And besides, both cases were entirely logical as well. That could've been anyone.

You're barking up the wrong tree.

Vigilante for sure,

will read the posts and contribute after class today. This is finals week for me so I'll be a bit distracted until Thurs

I'm in the same boat in that I've put off uni work for too long now and it has swamped me all of a sudden.

I just want to remind people of one thing and that is the way Mark was in regards to the lynching of RPHKR. Mark posted this:

lynch RPHKR

one away buddy, speak now or forever hold

even though we had just seen through RPHKR thanking Colin's post that he had been silenced, plus MaD had even posted this, so there was no excuse:

Yep... he's definitely been silenced

I think Mark had been trying to quickly force through a lynch on RPHKR even though he had basically just had his name cleared, albeit in a way which was against the rules. In my eyes this points to a mafia member who is trying to bump off RPHKR before anyone could notice, luckily for him RPHKR getting modkilled took all the heat off him, as Haarithan, MaD, Spoobir, CG123 had all posted either lynches or suspicion on him. Mark just makes a pretty short dodgy post in my opinion about not reading posts properly and then Hedger posts which puts all the attention on RPHKR being modkilled and since then no one has even mentioned Mark again.

Because of this Lynch: Mark

"...Start all over again." Great song.

Good strike to knock off a mafia member overnight. Guess we'll have to wait and see whether it is a vigilante, one night kill role or a SK.

Lots of power roles making an impact last night, will be interesting to see how it plays out next night phase as well.

As for lynches, I don't think Mark was making a quick attempt to lynch RPHKR, I genuinely just think he missed it. Colin did the same thing after the write up, it's just a case of skipping over info.

Read though the thread and have made some mental notes.
Not impressed by Aditya's gameplay so far. He has continuously been concerned about "sounding suspicious".
To me this is a mafia psychology, wherein you have a defense ready for anything and everything you say.

Varun has played a bit odd as well.
There has been a bit of over-aggression/defense from certain players, and considering it was day 1, keeping an eye on them will help.

At the moment, Big FOS on Aditya
Also, FOS: Varun, Dr Pepper

----------

Who all are yet to post in the day? I want to see the possibility of a silenced person..

Also Chewie's been pretty cautious in this game. Something I've noticed from previous game's is that he's pretty active when he's town, and not so when he's mafia. I think he even said sometime when I was mafia with him that he does not gun for townie's much when he's mafia. Of course, I could be wrong and he may have some reason behind him being inactive but that's just my opinion on the matter.

I've noticed this in the past, and I've definitely mentioned it in previous games. I'm not sure if cautious is the right word because he has been posting, it's just that his posts contain very little substance to them. Not to mention he was one of the last people to jump on the RPHKR bandwagon.

Atm I'm tossing up between Dr. Pepper and Mark. I'm not really sure if either of them are mafia, but both of them have caught my attention, for the above reasons. So, FOS: Dr. Pepper, Mark, Chewie

I want to FOS Dr Pepper and CG123. Mani because of the above and Callum because I don't trust him :p

Anything I've done, or just a hunch? :p

In terms of who's been silenced, Near and Manly2k9 are both yet to post today.

----------

In terms of that last line I think they're the only two, I might have missed someone though.

----------

Btw when I say "for the above reasons" I mean the above posts and what I've previously said, that's not really relating to the above part of my post directly.

I think we should try and keep track of who isn't posting so we know who's silenced.

A note on that: Now that we're aware of the silencer and are now unlikely to lynch someone just for not posting, the next step for the mafia would be to

a) Silence someone who could have night information that would help the town

b) One of them pretends to be silenced in an attempt to clear their name

Since we don't know who has what night roles as yet, I would say option (b) is more likely, although I'm not advocating we automatically lynch the person who is silenced today, we definitely shouldn't think it confirms them as town.

With (I think) two people having not posted atm, it'll be interesting to see if one of them is trying to fake being silenced.

But like you say Spoobir being silenced does not confirm that you're townie, if anything it throws the cat among the pigeons in terms of us finding out why the mafia silenced that person.

Yesterday I assume the mafia's tactic was to silence one of the newer players in RPHKR, and then once some people had noticed he wasn't posting and lynched him as some pressure to post, they all just jumped on the bandwagon like Themer did. That's kind of why I was thinking before that some of the lynches on him after/just before Themer would be form mafia as well. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
