Night 8​

Would the town get it right tonight, or would it result in further deaths. One man was planning to make sure it was the latter?

She was still suspicious of him. She made sure he?d be going nowhere tonight and let him be.

He had his target in sight and took her by the neck. ?You?re a dirty little traitor. You?re going to die a painful death,? he said as he threw her into the oil tank and just left her to die.

He had a weird feeling about this place. He walked around and heard a noise coming from one of the rooms. He rushed there where he saw an oil tank with the tap on. He used all his strength to turn the flow of oil off and found a girl in there. He helped her out. ?We?ve got to get out of here,? she said and they ran off before they would be found.

The town woke up to find the body of Manly. Surprisingly, there was not a mark on him and had died in his sleep. He was:​

I was "unsuccessful again."

Eight of us are left, and one of us is lying; Spoobir, CG123, Mark, Aditya, Abhas, Haarithan, barmyarmy, Papa Smurf.

I assume that's Papa Smurf saving someone. If it is, he should be able to clear who he protected.

Was that Spoobir who was doing the killing in the third paragraph, or was it the poisoner?

Also Abhas should be able to clear who he roleblocked.

Poisoner.

Mafia haven't killed since Chewie was lynched. They've posioned us once, and the rest of the killings have all been carried out by Spoobir.

 

[Abhas]

Manly is dead because of the poisoning.

For me it's out of three people, but I'll wait and see if we can clear anyone based on what everyone else did last night.

I know Manly died from poison, I'm referring the the unsuccessful attempt last night.

I roleblocked Barmyarmy again (sigh!), so that clears him for sure.

Was this Spoobir or the Poisoner? And why?

I reckon this is Spoobir.

The Poisoner could have chosen not to use their role then, so therefore barmyarmy wouldn't be cleared for sure. Same with the person Smurf protected, because Spoobir could have targeted the Poisoner. Sigh, this is so annoying!

How did we come to the conclusion that Spoobir is Vig, and not mafia?

I thought that there were two killings going on earlier, him and the mafia? For example on night one.

I always though that he was a chance of being a SK, but the Poisoner kind of derailed that theory, unless he has a choice of whether to kill or poison.

I'm not sure where Mark fits into all of this as well. Has there been clear evidence that there's definitely a BD in the write-ups?

Yes, A bus driver exists, without doubt.. his alliance may be doubted, but looking at the writeups, when I blocked him, he was portrayed as a "nice guy" which makes me feel he is town aligned.

I'm not sure where Mark fits into all of this as well. Has there been clear evidence that there's definitely a BD in the write-ups?

He was up and about, going about his business, as he had done the previous night. He knew what he was doing tonight, but so did the girl. She walked up to her target and asked him for some information. The nice guy he was, he told her what he knew. By the time they had finished talking, it was getting late and he decided to not bother. ?Maybe next time,? he whispered to himself.

This is what clears Mark for the time being if you ask me.

Ok. What about the DV being mafia?

IIRC there wasn't any poison early on in the write-ups, so maybe Haari has a choice of whether to DV during the day or poison at night?

Part of me has been saying that barmyarmy could be mafia, but he said that he had RB the GF earlier on (which cleared him?). He has the weakest RC left, considering I'm pretty much just a weak JOAT, so it's strange to have him as well as me.

That's why I decided to roleblock him today as well, but to no avail.
Haarithan cannot be mafia, I'm sure about that.
