Cricket 19 General Discussion

I totally understand. Get the game on release date....and spend some serious time playing it. Just hope that you might have time to post your thoughts/views of the game on here occasionally....a few screen shots/gameplay videos would be even better.
Now that I am not travelling as I was supposed to earlier, I think I could do that.

To me the score overlay looks like blend of the current channel 5 UK overlay and BT Sports from the 2017/18 Ashes

Only thing I am a bit annoyed by, is the fact that Ross posted that pic about [HASHTAG]#Cricket19[/HASHTAG], which he should've avoided as he knew it was only for the media to see and play. Same for the PR Company.
Don't understand if they're trying to make us feel desperate? I have always supported BA, but this is in bad taste. They could've updated us without the photos. Makes me feel small as a buyer. Yes, I know media gets to try it first for obvious reasons, but why are they posting pictures of a far away screen...?[DOUBLEPOST=1556606458][/DOUBLEPOST]
I agree with you Dutch, but don't you think yesterday's event was a bit silly? Why seriously even post pictures like those...
This is extremely poor and so far from the truth[DOUBLEPOST=1556617956][/DOUBLEPOST]

Could be the official layout too which would be v cool. Looks so much better than the Ashes Cricket layout

I am sorry to say this but in my personal opinion this is plain ridiculous. All this while I was thinking that the information was not out because big ant was working on the game and hence no updates!

But now everything is set and they even gave a press preview. Still nothing for people despite opening the pre-order is a very much disappointing.

With the game about to release in a months time and if it's complete enough to be shown to the press then ideally as customers we should be given a look at what we are going to order.

I’m not sure what people were expecting?

The fact of a media event happening is obviously of interest. I.e. the game is getting close, they’re ready to show it etc. and so obviously they publicise that but that publicity wouldn’t involve detailed shots etc.

Presumably the media that attended now get a chance to put out their own thoughts that will probably include the screenshots released as a media pack - I guess that would be the next content.

I honestly don’t get what anyone can criticise about yesterday or it’s handling or publicity?

Maaaaaate, can you chill tf out. Responses like this and how entitled potential customers are is extremely yuck.

I am just astonished that Ross didnt take a number of members from this forum with him to Lord's...I am astonished that he isn't at this very minute sitting in the Long Room at Lord's, letting his ample breasts flop out in all their sumptuous glory and proceed to breast-feed them....utter diabolical customer service.

You are correct to be reluctant to pre-order the game without having seen any gameplay and having received virtually no information...so don't pre-order it.

Wait for some gameplay and info to be released and if you like what you see, place your order then. If you still aren't sure then wait for reviews and user feedback from this forum.

Pre-orders in general are a mugs game, don't place one until you have seen what you are buying.

Patience my friend is the key.

They know more about PR & Marketing than you do so, you need to trust them just like you do for their games.

I am actually deleting the post, because even a seasoned member like you hasn't bothered to check the replies after that particular post. I have apologised. I can't keep listening for this post, when others here do far worse. I am sorry, and this is my final apology. Now, leave it.

Okay! I have deleted the controversial post, and again I apologise for it.
@TheLef @Snowy @WealeyH @passwordistaco - You had quoted the original post, and I have clarified already why I had posted it, and I think it's my worst post in 2-3 Years at PC Forums, and my top 5 worst since I joined 7 years back. I think I should get the benefit of the doubt, because I generally never am like this.

I love BA and Ross, have purchased all their cricket games, sometimes even two times for two devices.

Neither am I playing the victim card nor am I demeaning anyone, just said a few wrong things in the heat of the moment.

@Dutch has almost been there whenever I am active here, and he can say that I have never crossed my limited. Also, if possible can the mods (I tagged two here) make the quoted post by me dissappear, or there's no chance?

This is my final comment on the controversial post, that's it. I apologise for it.

P. S. Please don't delete this post, as it is my clarification.

I pre-order something, if the trailer looks fun and there's some bonus attached with it.
