Cricket 19 General Discussion

Okay lets move on......cheers. Lets see if we can somehow, just somehow drag this thread somewhere in the vicinity of normality: It is not a thread about trailer release date speculation or a critique of other peoples youtube videos or anything else. If you have nothing constructive I repeat constructive to contribute to discusssion about Cricket 19 (the title of this thread) then don't bother. It will be deleted and warnings handed out. Sick of it now.

Fair enough I was wondering if this could be a considered feature if not already been added say when the World Cup mode comes out which had been stated in the press can we have the ability to manage the squad so add players in and remove players as it happens in the real tournament

Assuming that everyone get access only on 28 May (no pre-access to the creators) how much time/weeks does it take to create all players in all teams, all stadiums with playface and Ashes Academy?

Depends on who is creating them. You could play club cricket in the meantime and then download teams as they come in so by the time you make it to first class level they should be there

If they have an option to use AC Resources, then less than a week.

If not, then given how efficient creators here have been, about 2 Weeks for most of it.

Well if they have a improved version of Play face then we can pretty do all the players faster than Ashes Cricket, doing all the kits will take a while.
I wish they could have just release Cricket Academy early like they did with DBC and we could have finished creating all the players and kits.

Going to attempt a serious question and see what I get back here....

Gaming Laptop

Don’t want to break the bank but willing to pay enough for it to easily play all modern games.

Advice...?

And I’m pretending this is Cricket related and it’s for Cricket 19 on the move.

Depends what your budget is. Got my PC from pcspecialist. Done me well for almost 2 1/2 years and they have very good tech support when I have had problems. I'd say it's worth going to a company like that just for support, even if you pay more than somewhere like Amazon. And most of them allow you to configure your system as well as buy off the shelf.

If I was getting a gaming laptop I'd be looking for something with a good graphics card, fair bit of ram (at least 8gb) and a nice SSD. Probably others who could advise on what you need in terms of minimum specs for graphics and processors. Not sure what's available in terms of laptops.

Unfortunately I’m not gonna be around from May 19- Aug 20 to make players. Going to the states for that period and will be living off the grid ! Good in a way I suppose as there’ll probably be a solid version of the game by then. Super excited to see what some are able to do on Playface by the time I get back !

LOL yeah Dutch looks like...

but isnt the new publisher a US based firm? maybe he is on his way to the publishing house? :) **mass speculation to follow**

The publisher is a drive from San Francisco. Seems likely.

I would start by finding out the recommended (not minimum) requirements for Cricket 19. I would assume BA have that info by now. That would be your base specs, but you'll want something better so that the laptop will last you a few years. Think about what size screen you want. Obviously the laptops with the larger screens will be heavier, but gaming laptops tend to be on the larger side.

Do a Google search for "best gaming laptops". That should give you a good overall picture of what's available.
