As I saw the clip I think there a difference between a proper bug and that shot, to me I saw nothing wrong with it you got caught and bowled

So WC starts soon and consoles gets a nice early release to go along with it, but as always the PC version is being delayed for no apparent reason.

And it is 2019 and played the demo and still no ultrawide support.

But anyway, what can you do, guess us PC users will enjoy it 3 months from now

I am a bit hesitant to comment as I don't have the game yet (waiting on, but grateful for, the eventual Steam release) but this game does look like a major step up from previous releases in pretty much every respect. One minor thing I noticed in your video that I think is also part of tweaking the AI, rather than fixing anything that is broken, is the use of the new ball in Test cricket. It would be nice if the AI rested its new-ball bowlers prior to taking the new ball, so that they were ready. I noticed that Eksteen continued with the new ball, which seemed a little unlikely. Previous games also continued bowling spells across breaks and days (e.g. if you were bowling at the end of the day, you would be bowling the opening spell in the morning) rather than session-start and new-ball bowler selection being more related to the role the bowler has in the squad or the success they were having in that particular match.

Yep this would be something that can be improved. To be fair, it’s day 5 so keeping the spinner on maybe not unreasonable? I’m also not sure yet how much of these things will be where the scenario side makes it harder, and you wouldn’t see those issues in normal play.

It’s a definite step up. The miserable git in me however says ashes was very good at launch and ruined by a patch 2 days after. and even here yesterday’s patch messed up hot spot. But I’m preferring to be positive and thinking if they tweak that AI we will be very very close to the game we always wanted

Anyone had this? Timing a straight drive, only for the bowler to catch it. Happened twice now.

It's nothing new. It has been present in the last few builds of Ashes Cricket too. It's extremely annoying and should be flagged as an issue .

It was added when players complained that fast bowlers' Caught and Bowled is not present in the game. At that point the bowlers didn't react at all. So when Devs started looking in to it, they introduced this particular problem .

You never seen a full toss drilled back at the bowler and caught?

You haven’t ideal timed it either.

Even Ideally Timed shots get Caught this way. Occurs way too many times in Ashes .

Can I download and create players on PC ready for the games arrival?

I can only say what iv noticed and iv played hours and hours and not really had the issue.

Do stats update after playing exhibition matches,tours ect?

This game is a big step forward , a real challenge, proper cricket , decent run rates , career mode a real struggle on medium difficulty, usually played on hard on Ashes + DBC 17 , graphics really improved, nice cut scenes, I could go on ...

One question how to I make the length marker colours brighter or more visible, am struggling to pick up good length green balls against grass colour!

You can turn the colors off and go all black for a greater challenge.

Each time I see a Message from a Fellow South African, I feel a sinking feeling and quickly log into the Takealot site, just to confirm mine still lands at my gate on the 30th....

Seems I`m the only South African that has managed to get a Copy to be Shipped to him on Release day.

Did the Online SA retailers have so little faith in the possible Sales ??

I think it is because we are viewing from a Non-US Time Zone! That is because, if you see the URL, it says may-28-2019

Yeah maybe. I remember Ross replying back to my question about the digitial relase to PS and he said its 28th for sure. I guess we'll have it either midnight or 6 AM likey
