Cricket 19 General Discussion

Another thing I hope for the game is that there is more retro kit back in the game like in dbc14, and the dbc14 option of players having individual helmets/gloves again as in dbc14

This was something that really added a lot of immersion for the sort of boring nerd like me that loved playing retro games

There were so many cool features in DBC14 that I wish returned. Retro kits were awesome though.

Its highly possible as i remember Ross told in the podcast interview that cricket 19 will be a huge step ahead from dbc 14 so lot of features from 14 high possibility may be included.

Open faced helmets without grill was a nice feature in DBC14. Most of the helmets were of white coloured(Graham Gooch weared). Any of the beta testers please ask for such Retro stuff.

Also the screeshots released for cricket 19 till now the wicketkeeping gloves are just looking stunning compared to the past series.

is scenario mode like brian lara cricket 99?

I was also part of the beta team so primarily I was testing, but it did open up the opportunity to get some stuff done before hand, I also feel that in the previous version logos caused quite a few issues so testing on sharing and stuff needed to be done early.

It would have been nice to get paid. But nope, all my own free will. I do it for the community. Its something I am passionate about and would definitely do again.
Off-Topic: That's why we all love you, Teacher! Plus, you make some of the most beautiful stuff since I have been on PlanetCricket!

Went through 32 Pages, and since I won’t probably be near my PS4 around May, so will anyway get a lot of time to see others reaction to the game, and then go ahead and buy it!
Okay, so I just received news, that I am going to be near my PS4 in May after all. Didn't get my overseas internship, so local internship will allow me to enjoy this game right at the release.

I was going to make a post about this, not specifically for retro kits but I noticed in DBC14 there were different pad/glove/helmet styles and they looked really good. The batsmen pads in the newer games don't even look 3D, looks like Cricket 2004 graphic model.
