I asked because I noticed you posting a number of videos with complaints regarding the Online Modes.
Now you need to understand that the Online Modes in this game are implemented using Peer to Peer(P2P) Networking mechanism. The Online Gaming Industry has moved to a Server/Client architecture because in P2P there is no Centralised Server to store Game States, hence, the Whole Data Packets containing Game states need to be sent to all participants. In transit depending on the Internet Connection of the participants Data may get lost or corrupted due to Standard High Ping or Packet Loss. P2P is infamous for such problems because even under the most ideal conditions and best of implementations P2P networks in gaming still struggle.
So what you're seeing in your Online Matches is expected behaviour mostly. With corrupt or Missing Data packets the game behaves in a weird manner. Previous games had 4s signalled as 6s and many more issues even in the best of conditions. Same is the case with this game.
Unless, Big Ant move to a Client/Server architecture, please do not expect too much of Online matches. If you bought the game only for Online Gameplay you should have known about the choice of networking used in previous games and stayed away from it.
