? before when i try to upload a pic it dint upload my page got stuck

may be cuz it was bitmap image.which r big in size .

then i converted it to jpg.and then it uploaded fine.

what i want to ask is there any other format which can reduce the size of the pic .

so other people who use dail up internet connection wont have any problems.

you cant view bitmap images on the internet, so theres no use in uploading one. just convert it to a .jpg or .gif.
