its really getting Confusing here.........The threads are all so mixed up
cant all bats makers have one thread to post there bats ,
all Ai patch makers a single thread . and so on..... i think it will be easier to find things... :onpc :cool: juz a friendly Suggestion

Well many of the ppl who make the kits, ai, etc have been doing it since cricket 2002. So we are quite used to this format after so many years.

If you would like to see something more organized then check out the downloads section of the site. everything is in order and pretty much all the kits and other updates that are made are in the downloads area.

This is precisely why we've been recruiting more staff members and boosting the role of existing ones. Hopefully things will start looking more orderly soon.

If u listen my advice if you wanna download then visit the download sections and from there you can directly visit the thread

yeah but a lot of things are not in the downloads center. none of the 2g kits i've made are in there, nor are many other things.

it comes down to the willingness of the patchmakers to actually send them to the downloads center, and i'll be honest. i am very lazy when it comes to things like that

Then should I make 4 sticky threads (AI, BAts Kits, Graphics) and all patches should post it there, again having said that if you are lazy then you wouldnt also post in the stick thread also......

nice to see someone else having this idea. i started it although couple of days ago, but with no luck...

thanks for your warm words. its easy to post a link to one post:
this post is number (lets have a look ) ..number 9. on the upper right of my post is a "#9" the link behind it is: http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/showpost.php?p=185986&postcount=9 (only a right click an properties and you will get the link)

Why can't a user directly add his file to the download section and then couple of moderators for validating the newly added download's. So that only validated download's will be visible in the download section. I am sure this would be easier rather than the moderators looking at every single page. I am not sure if vbPortal supports this feature or not, but certainly my forum software supports this

Or the alternate way would be to enforce all the users to update their first post of their thread with the links for all their downloads.

maybe a thread where you have it called like "FILES TO GO INTO DOWNLOAD CENTRE" the makers of it post in then the moderators put in dl centre removing the file they did as they go? donno

I think you got be worng there, what I meant was that you don't need to have to acces to the ftp server. The download software will upload it to the server for you(just like we attach the file to the post) and then a moderator can validate it. So that the moderator don't need to go through every page on the download forum. And also vbPortal needs to support this feature....
