Certainly not seeing much to get excited about.

Have been following the twitch stream for the last 30 mins and observations are as such:

- Player Physique is terrible (Steve Smith looking as tall as cummins, warner looking as thin as a kangaroo)
- Fielding hasn't changed much other than fielders showing a bit more urgency vs C19. (the most disappointing area for players who have been with BA Cricket since DB14)
- Cutscenes are the same as C19 (Celebrations, walking back to pavillion, players getting into field etc)
- Better lighting and overall graphics (although the hair looks awful)

So far, this game doesn't look anything but a mod version of C19. Expecting the Day 1 patch to be a miracle, otherwise will be a very sad buyer.

Im trying hard not to be negative and bare in mind there’s no patch.. but the gameplay is all but identical.

I’m a BA fan boy so I’m keeping the faith for release day.

More licenses may be a curse as they all have the same bloody body shape.

May need the talents of people like @wasteyouryouth to recreate them all over !

BA could have added these in the ultimate edition...paying full bucks doesn't seem worth it so far tbh.

Those legs! I think my issue is there’s no muscle tone in any of the players. Just all very flat and long limbed.

New advanced strategy. Never work out your legs so you can't be out LBW.

yes, fielding gameplay looks terrible as usual. Batting and bowling looks a par advanced from previous games. Graphics from the stream looks nice and better unlike IGN crap. But again, this fielding has not even improved a bit from C19. No dive saves closer to boundry, no flying catches, not a lot of outfield catches.... Too hard to judge without the day1 patch but for now..it's nothing but C19 V2. This is really not what I expected. Also nothing new gen stuff as well?!?!?!

I saw acrobatic stops near boundary and inner circle. The reaction times and loopy throws is what I did not like.

Was very excited as well , have preordered on Xbox. Watching these videos has made wait bearable. Disappointed with thin player models from twitch but don't want to judge with videos, that can fixed with patch and community player creations. Hoping for best..

I keep seeing people criticise quite core fundamental features such as player models, gameplay etc and then saying hopefully it'll be fixed in day 1 patch. Am I wrong to assume that big key features like these won't be fixed via patches? Or have they done this before?

Because from the sounds of it people are expecting a whole new game day one but I don't see that happening.

I completely agree with you. Not seeing a miracle happening this time around. May have to way till Cricket 24
