Anyone surprised that even IGN didn't role a review video out yet, when they did so on launch day for C19! Doesn't it seems that C22 is not a finished product yet! Too early but this game made me feel BA just did something like EA does for fifa till now. Target casual players, give cosmic changes priority and target an yearly iterations with promises that can't be kept.

Side note: I'm still pretty hopeful on BA, just because their dedication and support after release. Only thing may be not directing them to be next EA.

Fix is what one shouldn't be looking for all the time :P I have been waiting for patches more than I waited for the game. We all need one thing. A good, relaxing, playable, enjoyable and a casual cricket game. So we'll give what we have.. trust and patience ....but not always

I think this time around some good will with them will be lost. I compare C22 to nba2k (believe it or not) in that it has made little to no improvements over the last version. But I think I'm in the minority overall for this game. I don't even have any interest doing players etc for the academy.

I just can't put my finger on it but the magic from the release day version (minus some annoying bugs) is gone. It played differently, to C19 where as now, I may as well boot up C19. And BA don't even realise it which is even sadder.

Loved how the ball felt in day 1 patch, are we ever gonna get that ball feel back, that felt awesome, plus batting felt challenging, are you on pc or ps5? I wish I could retain that build and am ready to ignore the other bugs

Though in general the game has been not up to the mark of expectations, it certainly seems to have some improvements from the previous iterations along with the annoying bugs. Fielding, running and catching are too poor for a final game. Though patches are coming and they are trying their best. Can't expect everyone to be patient. I basically stopped playing cricket games after EA07 and BLc07 till bradman 14. Those years of wait was actually hard for a cricket fan.


The problem with licensing is that big ant would have been forced to release the game before ashes and amidst pandemic where their office had the longest lockdown in the world. So personally I can't blame them for this. There could have been a lot different if they were in office. I know this because the team I manage at work is going through some of this.

They need to release games every now and then to keep running their studio which is not a giant one. So I clearly understand why they had to push this game out in this condition. I will support them and hope they patch everything this time. But this would be the last for me too. I will think twice before buying a cricket game again.

I understand the comparison but NBA 2K is miles ahead in every single department. The graphics alone are breathtaking on Ps5 as they should be - meanwhile we get something that looks like DB17. Of course budget is the big factor here, but you would still expect better...

People who have purchased are literally paying to be beta testers as far as I'm concerned. Awful model.

Just played a BBL game, power surge is the only thing that works, extra point for most runs after 10 doesn't work. X-factor doesn't work, bat flip doesn't work. With BBL starting tonight, quite annoying

Some of the support tickets I just logged might be exact carbon copy of the tickets which I have logged for previous iterations. I just wanna enjoy the game after paying for it, not be a tester.

Yeah that's not a great thing to have to do, you should be able to enjoy the game without having to play like you're testing it. I don't even have Cricket 22 yet and I've been logging support tickets too from issues I've noticed in gameplay videos I've watched, and on behalf of people here on this forum who have wrote about bugs they've experienced.

One common thing is, I don't see the clock or time when I play the game thats how much a game of this sort is missing!

I logged a support ticked about the time of day and temperature missing from the scorecard in the pause screen and they said they are looking into it. In other words it might be a while before it's fixed considering the sheer amount of issues within the game that require patching.

For sure. I'm just saying this on pure frustration coz this was supposed to be a stress buster this year after all that had happened. Feels like 2021 got over in a month. Hope the game is fairly better by Q1 2022 and if not, God should help BA from this fallback. They can fix this and get back to square 1. Sorry if it's too much of a spam..but things are to be said so someone from BA can take a look at all the issues we have posted so far

Just stability improvements. The main or big patch is due 7th Dec as per Ross's tweet.

These names are bit irritating in career mode I mean Half asian mixed English names , Would be better if They add Indian/Asian names in Indian domestic all can Have Kumar,Sharma Gills and some more Indian surnames along with Indian names that would be better rather than D rampaul S Alexander etc playing in Indian domestic teams
Same goes for Pakistan They should have Some asian names in domestic teams but not Mixed names That's really really annoying and we can't even change club Team players name

After playing a bit after getting home its clear the gameplay feel from launch day is well and truly gone. It feels like a carbon copy of Cricket 19 now. Gameplay is flat and boring. Pretty disappointed, I'm adding this game to the collection of disappointing games. And any future BA game, I'm just not going to look at unless it gets stellar reviews. Pretty flat atm in regards to the state of this game.

Should have been released next year alongside the wc 20/20 (which is being played here in Australia.) Anyway, that's just my two cents worth opinion.

Is there any frame rate issue in PS4 ? I feel some strutting in the player movements.

The DBC17 feeling is quite obvious and glad I am not alone on this.

After the highs of DBC14 and Cricket 19 we were all set to witness the new BA games on the next generation.

Both the games were first to launched on a new next gen consoles - PS4/XB1 then and now PS5/Xbox (whatever the lastest version is).

Both the games had obvious glaring issues when launched and needed a lots of fixing with patches.

Both the games released seems like rushed and unfinished product of the final version.

Honestly DBC17 was a good game at release, far superior to c22 in terms of dismissal variety.

There were some serious bugs like field changes not working and overall the look and feel (exactly like c22) didn’t look next gen with poor player models and weird matte colours that made everything cartoonish and off. (C22 is identical in this regard IMO)

Unfortunately the patches in DBC17 ruined the gameplay with dismissals getting patched out.
