Cricket 22 General Discussion thread (Use bug report thread for issues/bugs/crashes | Patch notes in first post)

I just don't know to be honest, there seem to be so many issues, how long can BA support the game before having to move onto the next project. They said themselves they started work on cricket 22 after 19's release almost immediately. Nacon will want them on the next project soon. I just have that feeling this might be a mountain too high to climb. I hate being that guy but crickey there's a lot to fix, BA are in uncharted waters too in this regard.

I hope I'm categorically proven wrong, I should add.
How long did they support 19? But yeah it feels like a lot is wrong under the hood...feels like different experience in different match types and so many variables when you throw slider issues into it etc

I am playing it on PS4. Overall, Cricket 22 is a great experience thus far. I believe its the best one produced by Big Ant out of them all considering the variety and options are there for players in almost every aspect. As far as Bugs are concerned, I mostly facing minor bugs when I am bowling. Here is the list of bugs

1. The ball edged and keeper takes it but nothing happens

2. The bowler does not appeal at times despite its plumb LBW and umpire gives leg-bye

3. Non-network multiplayer, Big number of glitches to the bowling side, camera angle issues, overthrows as well as catching glitches.

Unfortunately, I can't imagine there will/can ever be a perfect simulation of cricket. There are just too many aspects to take into account. But just give us something better each iteration without destroying what was already working well. Also, nail the basics, ie fielding and catching. I admire BA's ambition but they may have got ahead of themselves here with a more complex career mode etc before getting the basics correct

My GPU is being used 99% while playing at night
And just 50% while playing a day game
I have a RTX 3070

Anyone facing the same?
Yup the night matches takes more toll on the graphics.

Guess its been the same for everyone.

That was the case in Cricket 19 for me so I don't see it as too much of a problem in that regard. Probably because there are more shadows to render both on ground and in the stadium.

I mean if I got out this way to the AI I'd be fuming, and even now I wished he hadn't had to run quite so far and they'd given me pro-cam, but still I never had anything like this as a dismissal in FC/Tests in c19, so I will take it.

Heart was in my mouth for a second.
Can you imagine if he’d have dropped one of the only outfield catches you’ve had….

For xbox users, in case ur game gets freeze plz go to xbox settings and set as offline from network settings and all of sudden ur game unfreeze and u can play as long as u want …

what a remedy we have

Jeez, the tail wagged there didn’t they? Think I’ll go through like I did on 19 and make all the bowlers significantly worse at batting. They still score occasionally, which is exactly what it should be, occasionally, but with this setup it feels like at least one of the tail will always get runs, you can hardly ever get them all for single figures. Definite edge though haha
