@AnmolJ @sashu_91 front foot straight drive is broken no matter how well you time it, dribbles to mid off no power in it and offside shots has been highlighted enough here ball really only goes to point or extra cover most of the time especially in ODI where there are more fielders... Which could possibly be the issue too idk.

I only played 19 for 1.5hr so far and batting felt pretty good to me, all the shots worked and variation felt really good too.

It seems defense is an absolute safe shot. I wish it also carried a bit of a risk if not timed correctly specially when the confidence is low and the batsman is not yet set

i have had caught behind by wicketkeeper on forward defense shot. batsman was steve smith. it was quite cool.

Update - Academy issue in PS5 seems to be resolved but I'm monitoring it. Will close my ticket if it's consistent. Noticed slowness but at least it's not crashing.
One help - anybody created correct roster names of unlicensed teams? I checked multiple but can't find one with all the correct roster names as of yet. Also, some people did uniforms but it's not rendering correctly on PS5

I'm not saying it's not there I can see it's there but it doesn't work at all and I don't mind ball going to fielder its the fact that it leaves the bat with no force and just slowly shits and farts its way up the pitch regardless of timing

Yes, the ball travels slower to the fielder. Probably until he adjusts his underwear to bend down to pick up the ball. When I drive straight.

I hope I'm Not the only One facing academy Issue Nothing Is downloading it's crashing although 2 days ago I downloaded anmoljoshi and wasteyouryouth's teams and players but now it's crashing can't even download bats

Plus anyone facing Some issue with different camera angles ? I tired one or two Camera angles game works slow a bit laggy when bowlers bowl and when playing shots anyone else? I'm on ps4

Funnily enough, posted this image in another thread just this afternoon!

I will say the AI gets out this way much more than I do as a user, but it has happened to me before. Just tinker with the edge potential for ok or poor shot inputs. Doesn't matter the shot used if the input is bad enough.

Can't Download bats as well and when I search 50 bats after long wait showed only 25 first then when I tried load more it crashed Happened 3-4 times shows only 25 bats at once only And try to load more it crashes

I am playing on ps5 never had the controller to vibrate. Is there any setting I am missing please advice mate

You can go for controller settings and set it as medium to high as per your interest.

It does, atleast on higher difficulties. You can get an edge on poorly timed defensive shots

That’s good to hear!! I’m using custom difficulty based on medium diff setting as a base so maybe that’s why. Will try to tinker around with the timing for defensive shots if the option is available in the custom difficulty settings. I’m happy with most other settings (except maybe the pace of spinners)

I'm currently testing the After Touch controls, but only the vertical input values, both straight up and straight down. I've set the game up for 2 players at the Gabba with the Hard/Dry test slider found in the other thread (@Rumple43). I have moved both strikers out of the way since they remain in that position over after over, great for testing. I've set my bowling skill to Very Easy so that I can replicate Perfect/Ideal as much as possible (90% success rate). I have probably bowled close to 100 balls now with Anderson and Broad, all Standard deliveries, good length, without any seam angle. I can say without a doubt, the after touch has absolutely no effect on length using Pro control. The far fixed camera works well for testing. Unfortunately, I'm playing on the PS5 and couldn't take a more scientific approach. Try it for yourselves. You will see that it has no effect.

I have been saying it for a while now
aftertouch on pro controls on ps5 is having no effect.
There are always certain areas of length that you cant hit no matter what you do.
One more weird thing is that on spin bowling there is no aftertouch so you can literally hit only 4 lengths on spin: yorker, full, good & short.
How do you alter length on spin bowling

Must be a bug
Atm there are so many small bugs like this apart from the bigger ones that I didnt even put this one in the bug thread.
These kind of things will probably get fixed in months to come when BA would have ironed out the bigger ones.

Bit of a weird one:

Career mode crashes when I accept an offer from one of the Australian teams.

i declined both and didn’t gave no issues haha
