Cricket 22 General Discussion thread (Use bug report thread for issues/bugs/crashes | Patch notes in first post)

Fielding:

1. Broken run outs - players prefer standing outside the crease mostly and gets out
2. Outfield ball chase - fielders giving up on chasing the ball
3. Fielders not throwing the ball from the outfield and holding onto it forever

Gameplay:

1. Leg side bowling by AI with no leg side protection- leaking runs and spoiling the immersion
2. Batsman playing late cut to spinners and always getting caught by super human keepers
3. No straight drives (barring through mid one and offs)
4. Spinners bowling round the wicket outside the legs and conceding endless wides and runs

Others:

1. Broken frame rates on ps5 during dusk/night
2. Weird crowd sound
3. Audio missing in the stadium and from the players after hitting the stumps or taking wickets, audio missing at the start of the game
4. Sliders setting back to defaults
5. Missing cut scenes - DRS turning down, rain delays etc etc
6. Tour mode missing, competition designer missing
7. Academy crashes
8. Can’t play Any completion as a team
9. Hotspot missing from in game reviews

It's a small thing but removed the ability to use the up directional button to toggle the HUD on and off during gameplay.

Good point raised , Can you mention the Patch number also , Please also post in bug section that will be helpful to get solve .

IF BAS fix all raised tickets that's fix size might be more than one complete game.

Better relaunch game in 2022 named "cricket23" with all fixes just before CWC22, at-least XBOX guys can play game without crash. I don't think we get any patch on Xbox soon for c22.

How is that possible you are releasing game on console for almost last 10 years and still don't know patch pre-reqs for Xbox UK.

I've a ps4. The flickering is mostly in night matches. I've a very good experience playing the career mode and online mode. Ps4 Pro users might have a different opinion.

let me think to downgrade to ps4 now. Wait for next patch and you will get surprise for sure.

better BA put a note with upcoming games that these playable on ps5 or you must have gaming pc.

front foot shot animation looks sliding ! We need a proper dancing down the wicket animation ! i wonder why C22 players are sliding without proper foot movements .

Depends on the platform and the game type you want to play. On PS4, at it's best it's alright to play, but there are things that are still not fixed obviously.

Also, has anyone seen a player retire hurt? This was in C19 I think...
