They really need to address that special shots slow motion issue now.. It has become annoying now... I've lost two critical wickets as lbw at precious moments just because of this which ruined my game to an extent.... Pls look in to it asap...

they said the slow motion only plays out if you would have missed the ball anyway, so in theory you would have gone out anyway ;) I know it is annoying!

i believe it was supposed to be a sarcasm...:yes..but it wasnt thr before...& if i m going to miss bcoz of early or late timing the outcome would be either outer or inner edge or miss which can go anywhere resulting in both runs & wicket for batsmen but not definite lbw or bowled everytime....but in current case it is only going to hit the body or stumps resulting in lbw or bowled....

I just want to play in bowler friendly conditions.
Why the hell can I not choose the weather?
Yes we can't choose our desired weather now after recent patches. 3 patches before "Spring/Reduced" given perfect seaming conditions. But now we can't

Every test I play against the AI. no matter what team I play against, the AI will score at around 3 runs an over for 110-120 overs. If I play against New Zealand, India, West Indies, Bangladesh, Bob Beamon's Pub XI , it's the same.

Does anyone know why this is?

Anyone done any research on bowling into the rough ? Does it turn more or just for show ?
I did some testing a while ago on pitch wear.

In short, seam bowlers get more lateral movement as a game goes on, from cracks in the pitch I assume. I could see no specific differences for spinners, though I wasn't bowling at any kind of rough patches. I doubt it'd make a difference though, imo.

Good read that pretty much answers my question I just want to be able to get maximum spin sometimes and as I read on another post of yours regarding revs etc I turned it up to 100 like you did and you see a tiny bit of difference but not much. I think going forward it would be great if you could target the rough to get big turn from your spinners

Pitches are something I have banged on for years about. Although they never seem to get any love. Which to me seeing as they influence a game so so heavily is odd.

Yes it would be very nice and save impatient people like myself from having to mess about with sliders every game to try create a realistic pitch

I

would be interested to know what your custom settings are. If you changed “ Pace bowling speed max “ it effect the balls trajectory and you will have a lot of byes. If you want the ball to come quicker leave pace bowling speed max at 50 and ONLY change “Pace bowling visual speed” And the byes will stop.
Its nothing to do with that.

As the two fellas said, if you leave the ball by literally not moving (and not pressing the leave button) the AI keeper will also often not move and let loads of byes go, especially against spin.

If you press leave, the AI keeper reacts, as if the human playing a shot or leave or just something, makes the AI spring into action.

It needs fixing badly.
