just got 1.000.011 on PS5, is that new as of just now? or did i miss one
 
Same here. Got no idea what the patch includes though (or what it's broken)

Improved fielders lofted catches action
Improved Community stability
Improved Career Stability
Improved General Stability
 

It surely was a wonderful session of bowling..This is around the release time version,. Not sure how many patches in..

What sliders are you using for the bowling speed? Looks good as
 
Is there a way to change the AI line after starting the series? I went into team management to change the test line for second test of Ashes, but it did not work. Is there any other way?
 
Not at this stage I believe, I had to start another Ashes series with teams I changed in team management.
Of all the bugs and issues, I would not have anticipated this one. This has got to be the easiest thing to carryover from C19.
 
Two observations.. I've been bowling as both teams in test matches on veteran AI.

1. Why does the team chasing always win no matter how many runs are needed? I've had 438 and 369 chased down.
2. Why does the number 9, usually Starc or Broad always hit loads of runs?

Anyone else noticing this "scripting"?
There is a slider that increases the dependency on attributes when batting, they're the Edges - Low striker skill influence and Edges - High striker skill influence.

I've only just started playing around with them, but based on the description they're an inverted slider. In that, you decrease to increase, if you know what I mean?

I think my last game I had my low striker skill edge slider on 10.

In the first innings, #9 scored 12 off 20, #10 had 5 off 31 and #11 was 0*.

Second innings, they did the same, nothing alarming.

Early days but just thought I'd share.
 
Can anyone on PS5 let us know if the fielding situation (slow jogging fielders in particular) has been fixed? Also, the returns occasionally stalling when holding down an end button (L1 or R1) has that been corrected?
 
Just achieved my first run out using the run out mechanic. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It was by Sam Curran in a one-off T20 International between England and Uganda… incase you were wondering! Won by 9 wickets with three overs to spare. That man Curran scoring 53. Bring on the ODI next!

Seems fixed for me after the 1.000.011 update. Also they seem better around the boundary rope, not carrying balls over the boundary (AI atleast), haven't fielded myself yet. Also they r able to push the ball in at the last moment without stepping over and the 2nd fielder isn't waiting there admiring the scenary. Seemed to be reacting quickly and throwing the ball in.
