Strange! Do you have a video of it by any chance? Also what settings are you using
Bro the edges are extremely rare , they do happen but like once in 2 or 3 matches which is indeed a big problem in online games

One must raised a ticket to solve this problem , classic control users are at huge disadvantage in online games , edges are the sole reason I have revert back to arcade controls in order to remain competitive in online games

I don't understand why they are not releasing a hotfix for this particular issue. It is a game breaking bug!

I must say batting style 7 is more apt than other styles.. Almost everything looks perfect.. sharing few clips, The cover drive is more satisfying, the sound plus bat face because of that may be..do not have a video for that though, will share in future..

Batting style 7 cover drive of full length ball and good length ball. Lofted shot also looks good in style 7.

The arcade batting is completely spoilt after last patch. The patch actually did nothing to fix the sweeps but it broke the edges coming off the bat. There was also a bowled dismissal happening when mistiming a flick to a full delivery, that too is gone now. Either we need to try the pro-controls or we need to revert the last patch. Is there a option on steam to revert back to the game before last patch ?

There is no option to revert an update on any platform as far as I know. I wish they gave us an option for that though especially when Big Ant is the one making games

Hopefully in C26 we can select each and every shot for the batsmen instead of premade batting styles as it will result in truly unique players whose strength and weaknesses we can see from the way they play their shots.

there should be at least 18 shots (backfoot and front foot)for all those nine directions like straight , mid on , mid off ,covers , point , wide thirdman , fine thirdman ,mid wicket , square leg ,deep square leg area. so a total of 18*9 =162 total shots , I am sure there are currently above 100 already. But just give us the ability to select and apply to our batsmen.

Also there should be batting stance editor and bowling action editor which allows us to mix and match small sets of animations.

Probably also result in lots of buggy batting that people will complain about ask demand to know why Big Ant did this to them.

why buggy? The shots are already there and working , also they should give an option to edit the shot power and direction arc area in reasonable limits.
They're motion captured from real players, so they'd need to tie in the animations from stance -> transition -> shot to make them applicable for players with unique techniques.

Creating your own unique style would be good and, I could well be wrong, but I don't think it's as straightforward, or without potential issues, as just letting us pick which animation we want.

In terms of shot power that is surely related to the skill of the batter? Directional arc is determined by where you point the stick, the game will always put the ball where you want it to go.

Few batting shot animations are weird at present for instance prod pull shot animation still there.
